Awful

Place was dirty, so much garbage in cans hadn’t been dumped in forever. Ripped furniture, oven was unbelievable broken glass in oven door and oven! Ripped outdoor furniture!Yard had grass at least 8-10 inches high second day did mow.

Functional just needs attention

The house is great - easy to find, good beds that were comfortable. Kitchen is decently stocked with cookware, coffee maker, toaster over and has pots for cooking. There is a nice table to sit at on the patio. Water pressure is good. Driveway big enough to accommodate 4 cars. However, do not expect any luxury in this rental. The house has not been adequately cleaned. We spent the first few hours cleaning floors, the upstairs bathroom as the tub was dirty and dusty, pulled hair from the shower drain downstairs and had to clean pots and dishes and silverware that had not been cleaned thoroughly. The coffee maker had not been cleaned, maybe ever. There are tears in the couch and stool covers, dents in the fridge and the walls generally need a coat of fresh paint. The yard has not been weeded anytime recently. To summarize: functional but not lovely. I usually do not leave bad reviews as I have never encountered a house so poorly kept. I did email the owner. He asked for pictures. I had no way of uploading pictures on the VRBO communication platform. I asked for another way to send pictures. He did not respond. He did not offer to give me a cleaning refund or discount of any kind. I doubt he has driven by this property or been inside in a long time. It does look like the pictures, but those were taken when the house was first listed, most likely, and it is obvious the owner has not kept up the property. Sorry owner, others need to know what the house is really like.

Great place for our team

We brought a team down for the state track & field meet, and this place fit us great! We appreciated all of the bedrooms and the large open living areas. The kids really enjoyed shooting hoops on the basketball hoop in the driveway. The host was responsive and accommodating to our requests. We'll definitely look at staying there again in the future!

Stay in Arvada

We enjoyed the large house and the kids loved the game room. Very roomy in the kitchen for multiple people to gather. We were unable to get the hot water running for our showers, but that was okay.

Dirty bathrooms, poor maintenance, uncomfortable stay

This could be a cute house in a quiet neighborhood, but it needs a lot of work and the cleaners (if there are any) should be fired. The downstairs bathrooms were dirty - there was hair on the floor, in the drain, and on the shower walls of both bathrooms, and the bathmats were used. Towels were left in the dryer and we had to get them from there, but at least (we hope) those were clean. Given the condition of the house, we weren't sure if the sheets had been washed. The floors were filthy & we had to wear shoes the entire time. There was a dark handprint on the wall in the dining area, counters were dirty, doorknobs were loose and falling off, no curtains in the downstairs bedrooms, the dishwasher didn't latch, & the front door lock was installed upside down so the door would stay closed only if we locked the deadbolt. The grass was very tall and the entire property looked neglected. We spent a lot of time looking for a home where our team would be comfortable for a short work retreat, and this was embarrassing and uncomfortable. Due the short length of our trip, we were unable to do anything but stay and clean enough that we could use the spaces. We notified the owner immediately & sent photos; he responded that he would talk to the cleaners, but nothing was addressed during our stay. Being charged a cleaning fee for staying in this place is egregious. It is deeply unacceptable to pay for accommodations and find yourself cleaning a stranger's body hair from the shower drain.

Great home for large groups

This was a very functional home in a good location between Boulder and downtown Denver. The place is in a very quiet neighborhood. Very clean inside could use some better landscaping outside.

Great!!

Our group of friends loved our stay at this property. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and close to many attractions. The property manager was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
