Spring Break Relaxation
Great location. Off the main drag just enough to be calm and mostly quiet. Excellent beach access and super easy check in and parking. We would stay here again.

Classmates getaway
We had a very enjoyable stay in Destin at SkyRun Vista with friends. We rented two different condo's in the same building due to the number in our party. This condo was clean with the bare essentials available. The space was great, and the view was beautiful. It was really hot in August, not sure what we were thinking, but the air conditioner never failed us. When I needed something Elizabeth with quick to answer - I really appreciated her. Compared to the other condo in the building for less price, this one could use some updating. The older furniture and bathrooms make it look less desirable, but it had been cleaned well. There is no ice maker and we could have used a pitcher and mixing bowls. But overall we would stay there again.

Family vacation
Overall the stay was great! The only downfall was we didn’t realize how far the walk was to the beach, not horrible but the pictures appeared to be closer.

Great Experience!
Great overall experience! The condo was exactly as listed. Very clean! Loved that it was gated. The view from the balcony was great! Beach access was only a few feet away. Property management checked in during the visit and were very responsive. Would definitely recommend this listing and look forward to returning!

We will be back
We loved the location and the commnication was so great. From day one if we needed anything they responded quickly. Only thing we suggest is the outdoor patio furniture made us a little nervous having a toddler since it was as tall as the railing. Maybe shorter table and chairs there. But overall an amazing stay. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully to the same place.

Great little condo with fantastic location & views
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this condo. The kids loved that after a long day’s adventures, we could walk down to the beach and they could play in the waves of the Gulf of Mexico. There was also a little beach in the bay more protected from waves.

Dirty Unit, Needing Updates and Repairs
Main bathroom door was broken, would not shut. Sliding glass door in living room was very hard to open, needs to be fixed. All furniture is in desperate need of updating, the wicker chairs in the living room are uncomfortable and coming unraveled. Chairs in dining area are stained and filthy, I had to place towels over all the seats so we could sit on them. Flooring in living room was damaged, broken piece that we had to place a chair over so our toddler didn’t cut her foot. Master bathroom bathtub/shower looks like it’s from 1987 and dirty, wore flip flops to take a shower. The floors in the unit were so dirty my toddler’s feet were literally black on the bottom when she ran around barefoot. The baseboards were disgusting. The white walls had dirt smeared all over them. Overall the cleanliness of this unit was absolutely unacceptable. The beach directly behind the condos belong to Emerald Grande, so in order to enjoy the beach we had to walk forever in the sand to get to a spot. This was by far the worst, dirtiest and most outdated place we have ever stayed in Destin.

Awful.
House was not cleaned. Sand & other substances we're all on the couch. The 2 wicker chairs that were in the living room were falling apart. You could tell the floors hadn't been mopped in a very long time, you couldn't even walk without shoes. The bathtub/shower had a lot of scum & buildup it looked brown the bedding for the master bedroom was disgusting. It had rips and burn holes on it. The white curtains thought the place were disgusting. The patio door in the living room could barely open, everyone at the house could barely open it, it was very hard to do so we always had to walk through the master bedroom to use it. The post online said pool/spa & there was no spa. The pool hadn't been swept or cleaned in a while stuff was floating around and stuff all on the bottom. On our 7th day they finally had someone come clean it. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Definitely not worth the price!!!!!

Angel, You seemed unhappy from the minute you arrived. You were unsure what floor the property was on, and you were concerned for your elderly father if there was no elevator. There is an elevator as advertised. You took many pictures of the items you felt were not clean enough. We offered to have someone come and re-clean. You did not want the cleaners to return, but rather wanted a refund of the cleaning fee. We checked the sliding glass door on your departure, and it is working. Sliders that face the gulf often stick and are regularly maintained due to the salt air/spray. We invite readers to read the 4, and 5-star reviews received this month. -SkyRun Destin|30A

Great stay!
Location can’t be beat! Wonderful views and nice pool for evening swims. Rental was clean upon arrival. The furniture is a little big and hard to seat 4 at the table without knocking knees. We would stay again!

Mixed thoughts on this one
I wasn’t blown away with this rental. The main problem with this condo is the furniture is wayyy to big for the space. With 4 of us & our bags you could barely navigate. They could easily fix this by placing some smaller, more practical furniture in this space. It was like a puzzle trying to get around with 4 of us inside. The second we walked in we noticed the floor was not cleaned properly. We weren’t able to walk around barefoot for the entire trip. Dirt & sand. The actual shower & bathtub were gross. It was like I stepped back into the 80’s. It literally has not been updated since then (the shower part & bath). Ceiling is peeling off in master bath. Also, our water was completely shut off for an entire day with no warning or heads up. Super annoying. Another major downside to staying in this unit is that you can hear everything happening @ the pool. Two or three nights in a row teenagers were out there partying. Bring ear plugs & a sound machine. The positives were: great location, great view & private parking. I think the reason they haven’t put more money or updates into this unit is bc the view is great & they think ppl will overlook the shower / bath accommodations. Wouldn’t stay here again but it served it’s purpose.

Lovely view
The view from this condo was amazing; however, the walk is ridiculously long to get to the beach. Half of the beach is reserved for guests staying at another hotel that has to shuttle over via boat which leaves you having to walk even farther. No bathrooms are close by. This beach is also where every snorkeling boat drops their guests off to snorkel, so it can get crowded quickly. The condo was nice and the complex itself is small so not too crowded. If people are at the pool late at night it can be a little loud, which might be difficult for guest with young children trying to sleep. Overall, we enjoyed staying here and if you don’t mind the long walk you will too.

Great Views Condo
This condo is in a great location close to the ocean. Great Views! Quiet complex. The beach is very busy and the blue chairs and umbrellas are for Emerald Grande guests. There are shops and restaurants nearby that you can get to by car. Inside of condo could use some updating and also the furniture is oversized for the space. The baseboards are dirty. Be prepared to supply your own beach towels, chiars, umbrella, cooler if flying you may want to consider staying some place where these things are provided. Also, there are very limited supplies of paper towels, TP, trash bags, no napkins, plastic wrap, baggies, soap, shampoo/conditioner. Consider bringing your own or prepare to buy when you get there. Just all good things to know for your visit. Have a great time.

Excellent property in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent view of the bay and Gulf from balcony. We will definitely try to book this Condo again when we visit Destin again. Br sure to bring some binoculars so you can see the dolphins in the Bay from the balcony.

Great location
The space and location are fabulous! I love the views and being close to the beach! There were gas grills down stairs near pool that worked well and we grilled burgers and dogs easily for lunches. That was convenient. There was a lot of sand on the floor when we first arrived that the cleaning crew missed and are feet were black after getting out of shower. I did report that and they said they would let the cleaning crew know. Make sure you read the welcome letter on fridge or the manager will make you feel like an idiot when you ask about wifi. Bring your own pillows. The ones there are flat as a pancake. But overall, the place was nice and the balcony which has access from bedroom and living area had good views. And they provided some starting essentials like garbage bags, dish and laundry soap. Checking in was extremely easy!! Love that

Great getaway
Perfect location- 10 minute drive from anywhere you could want to go. There were so many dolphins it was unbelievable. Great time- would definitely come back.

Furniture is oversized for the space, which made it a little difficult to navigate around. Furniture Very out dated and uncomfortable. When it rains you have no choice but to be inside. Very clean, very nice . Great location and view of the ocean. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful location
We were just amazed at the location. So close to the beach. We were able to just walk over the dunes and you were there. Every morning we woke up to this beautiful site and enjoy our coffee on the patio and every evening enjoy the gorgeous sunset. The condo was perfect size for our 4 person family, 2 adults and 2 kids. We loved that we were able to cook in or utilize the grill available at the complex instead of going out to eat every night. We definitely plan on coming back in the summer to enjoy the busy to of the year.

Old and outdated
Furniture was old and beat up, curtains in master are very old and didn't cover the patio door, comforter had a big tear and was very old and thin,tv didn't work at all in master bedroom and only got a few stations in the living room (NO CABLE),coffee maker was broke and didn't work. We stayed 1night and left.

Great place
We enjoyed our stay here. The view was amazing! Best view in the building. The only complaints were furniture was too big for main room and didn’t leave walkways and the king bedding had hairs in it. We loved our time here. Everyone in the complex was friendly. Parking lot seemed secure.

Beautiful location
We enjoyed our long weekend stay. The end unit was perfect for viewing the boat traffic in the jetty and the sunsets were incredible. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. We found the unit was nicely supplied and the location is close to many restaurants and activities. Having visited in the fall we found it a very quiet and restful experience.

All in all a great vacation
The property was nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay there. My son loved that their were tree frogs everywhere that were easy to catch. :) The only complaints I have are that the cable channels offered were very basic - ABC, CBS, NBC and a few local networks that no one watches. Luckily, we brought some movies to watch because there is a DVD player in the living room. The kitchen didn't have any cookware whatsoever that could be used in the oven so I had to buy cookie sheets, etc.

Family vacation
We loved our home away from home! It was right on the beach just some sand dunes separating us from the ocean. My 14-year-old loved going out night fishing searching for crabs and snorkeling next to the jetties! The view from our condo was absolutely beautiful! The condo is just a short 10 minute drive to all the downtown Destin activities. It was nice to be able to spread out in a condo versus staying in hotel.

We came for a girls weekend it had a great time. Great location away from the busy areas but close enough its only a short drive to shops and restaurants. Convenient beach access. I will saybthe furniture in the main bedroom is too large for the room and is difficult to get around it. The condo was clean and comfortable. Great stay

Fun stay at a good location.
Unit was just very close to the beach and had a great view. The kitchen was under stocked, no consumables like salt and pepper or any type of condiments, cellophane, foil, or the like. So if you plan to do some cooking there, might want to be aware. Made it difficult because we chose to fly in and Uber around, but there were very few Uber’s available during our trip. The unit itself was great though. Enjoyed the stay!

June 2021 First time visiting Destin
We had a great time staying at this location for the first time! It is smaller and a lot less busy than the places we usually stay at in PCB. Our condo was very clean, was gated, and the pool area was well equipped and clean. The other reviews are correct in stating that it is a bit of a walk down to the beach. Our activity tracker measured the walk to be 1/4 of a mile IF you are walking past the reserved chairs/umbrellas to set up your own. It was a slight disappointment that so much of the beach was reserved for Emerald Grande guests and the rest of us had to walk further down to find a spot. A huge plus is that the area where we could set up was one of the areas that at least 5 different snorkeling companies stop on their tours. So, bring your snorkel masks and you will get to see all sorts of fun things!! We even saw a group of “Dory” fish and needle fish! We learned that during the summer there are fireworks to be seen right on this beach every Thursday night. They started at about 9 and the show was great!! If you don’t mind get your steps in on vacation, this is a great choice! We will definitely recommend it to others!!

Blown away!
Never expected the Gulf side views! We had an unobstructed view of the Gulf. Pool was great. The location is spectacular! We were able to snorkel the jetty that others were paying for on an excursion. 4 stars on cleanliness due to the comforters not being as clean as possible.

Highly recommended
Great location. Great view. Clean and very comfortable condo. Beach was minutes away walking distance. The Harbour was also minutes away in car.

We can’t wait to come back!
We had a fantastic mini vacation and can’t wait to return in the fall. The location was perfect. Tucked away from all of the hustle and bustle but a short 5 minute drive to everything! The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything that we needed to get us started. Great communication with Edgar. He was always quick to reply with anything that we needed.... although we didn’t really need much. I only asked where the broom was. We enjoyed the views from the condo and spent most of our time down at the beach watching dolphins, sea turtles and sting rays. I would highly recommend staying here!!

It was a pleasant stay but the condo needs maintenance. Ceiling fan in master didn’t work. Shutters have missing boards. Burnt out bulbs in some light fixtures. We ran out of hot water a lot when more than one showering. Wood rot in master bath and kitchen. It has an odd musty smell throughout the condo. We had to open windows and doors daily. The view is spectacular but it is a hike to the beach. It was a bed, a shower, and kitchen. Sorry. But won’t stay here again.
