“The room was not suitable but we were promptly swapped to a better room and the rest of our stay was great. I would suggest before staying in room 405 ensure the curtains have been replaced and the carpets aren't dusty. Host was friendly and accommodating. Due to the prompt swap and pverall value I would give it 5 stars.”

“Excellent hotel, with very comfortable room and a great restaurant. At 30 minutes from the city centre via Tram, it's easy to park nearby but be aware of parking limitations. They have valet parking too.”

Catch the train from Skybus to Glenferrie Road Hawthorn (easier than tram). As I stayed longer for a week, had a lovely welcome present of snacks and room serviced. Would definitely recommmed. ”

“Rooms were spotless, and comfy. Fridge, kettle and tea selection was unexpected. Food at the bar was delicious. No noise despite being attached to a public bar. Car parking available at rear - though we opted for the 1P parking out front, knowing we would be gone by 10am the next day. This was an ideal stopover with grandparent and children.”

“This was our second stay at Jo’s place and really enjoyed the apartment and beautiful gardens where we could safely walk our dogs. The area was secure and safe too. Only thing is that there is no WiFi which would have been handy to watch our own Netflix shows.”

At the end of the stay they tried to extract money for cleaning which was entirely spurious.
