“The cabin is exactly as described. The Big Canoe community is SPECTACULAR, although the main pool shown in the Expedia photos was dirty and closed. However, the marina and the trails were open. Our only issue was that the cottage was delivered to us at 5:00 PM instead of 4:00 PM because they said it was being cleaned. When we entered at 5:00 PM, the cottage was still not clean. There were two pork chops inside the microwave, spider webs in both bedrooms and on the walls, and the front door,...

The hosts also had other thoughtful touches like a walking stick for the trails, maps and other information about the area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck to look at the stars. “We loved our four nights stay! We loved the game room playing air hockey, ping pong and darts! We took advantage of taking the kayak out on the water and exploring the river. Also enjoyed laying out in the sun on the second floor of the dock. One of our favorite activities were making a fire and roasting marshmallows in the evenings.The host was wonderful.
