“We absolutely loved our time in the Sunset cabin and would definitely stay again. Had some trouble getting ahold of the host but it didn't impede our stay. The cabin was the perfect size for my partner and I, and the fireplace made it so cozy. The kitchenette was great too.We did end up going out to get our own dish soap, as dish water is dumped outside and the one stocked is Dawn which doesn’t biodegrade. It would be great if Camp Amnicon could use another type of soap like Mrs. Meyer's - which...

“Everything went smoothly and the process was very easy to check in and check out. Location was perfect for getting away from the city. We used the cabin as our home-base while we camped in the National Forrest Wilderness nearby, it functioned perfect for what we needed. Very pretty in the winter and we cant wait to come see it in the fall!”

The amenities are just right and I like that I don't have to bring much! The South shore area of Superior is beautiful and not offers a calm and just the right kind of disconnect. “We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!”
