“We thought based on photos it was gonna be a decent place to stay. We got there the room smelled nasty there was water on the floor coming from under the fridge maybe fridge was leaking idk. Makeup or something smeared on the bathroom counter. There were several boogers stuck to the light on the night stand. Several old beds and Junk out back old chairs and blankets on ground outside the lower rooms. We could hear dogs barking inside rooms and outside. It was 12:30am when we checked in had it...

“Great place for a little getaway. Perfect size for just the 2 of us. Everything was clean and worked.I read a couple of reviews about water pressure issues - no problems here. Great location, adorable cabin, if we ever come back around here, would definitely like to stay again!!”

“Great nature getaway!”

“The house was beautiful! Parts of it were built in 1880 with very high ceilings. The kitchen was modern. The pool was very clean and the pool area was really nice. Our hosts very kind and accomodating. We might stay with them next summer.”

“The property was very clean and nice for our stay. The only complaint was that the main cabin was pretty hot and the wall unit was not able to cool the living room/main living space down. It doesn’t help that it has been 90 degrees though, so I’m sure this place is 5 stars during the fall!”

“This place is the definition of seclusion. It is so peaceful here. Very nice cabin with plenty of room for a family or a few friends. Only 30 minutes from the gorge and it was a pleasant drive to get there with many options to eat and shop. I highly recommend Toads BarN grill and definitely Miguel’s pizza. The hot tub was a fantastic treat to come back to after long days of hiking. It was very clean and heated up waiting for us. Very secluded and you hear nothing but the sounds of nature. Beds...

“It was great! The hot tub definitely needed a cleaning. It is such a cool area and the house was clean when we got there. It is a great spot to enjoy the nature and listen to all the animals chirp. The host is super easy to work with and was super helpful!”

“This was the perfect getaway! We love the farm and all the animals. Beautiful scenery and fun hiking on the property. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again! ”

“Beds were comfortable. Place was clean. AC had some water condensation issues that did get addressed. If you like solitude, place is great for it is off the beaten track.”

“This has been one of our absolute favorite stays! The property is absolutely lovely—beautiful and peaceful. My 9yo son and I had so much fun exploring the property. The owners were so kind and welcoming. We’re hoping to come back soon with the rest of the family!”

“This home was recommended to me from another VRBO owner whose home was not available at the time it was needed. I am fortunate that they shared this home's listing. It is very comfortable, lovely inside and met all our needs. The owner was gracious about letting us check in early and even offered for us to stay later than in the day on check out day (which we couldn't use but it was appreciated). We return to the area every year around the Fourth of July weekend and hope to use this property...

“We absolutely loved our stay here. The host thought of everything that you might need. Beautiful home, quiet and peaceful. We had a blast fishing and using the paddle boat. We truly enjoyed watching the beautiful Scottish cow and the horses on the property! We had fire down at the firepit where our grandsons experienced their first Smores. It was more pleasant and beautiful than we expected. I didn't want to leave. Highly recommend to anyone needing some tranquility!!! Love...love...loved...

“Our annual family girls trip was fantastic. The cabin we stayed in was gorgeous. The breakfasts provided were delicious. We accidentally locked one of the bathroom doors and Ryan came right away to unlock it for us. He gave us recommendations of things to do in the area. The mosquitoes were very active, so bring some repellent if it is mosquito season, so that you can enjoy the porches and the trails. I wish we had been able to stay longer.”

“The property was beautiful and peaceful--the perfect getaway. We really enjoyed the pool! We also spent a lot of time in the game room, learning to play shuffleboard. We would definitely go back!”

“Absolutely charming farmhouse!”
