“We stayed the weekend for a volleyball camp. The cabin was very clean, nice, had everything you could need!! The host communicated everything very well! It’s a rural setting, which we enjoyed. There is no cell service at all but the cabin has great internet and we could receive calls, texts and everything! We have a little poodle that’s part of the family and we can’t ever leave her. We were very appreciative she could come! I enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the deer! So quiet and...

“It was good in general”

“Very clean and well kept. Easy communication. Nice fire pit. Well maintained gravel.”

“This home was a blessing to us as we visited family in the area. The interior was spotless, but the porches could have used some attention. Pay attention to the host instructions accessing the drive from the highway. My son tried to make the hairpin turn and found he had to backup on the highway to do it. Not a good spot to be in. “Need better pest control in the house.”

There was random pieces of garbage around the cabin and in the woods. The pond is not close to the cabins (1/2 mile) down hill and the road and trails to it were not maintained. In short, it is a very peaceful getaway, but the pictures make the cabins and pond appear relatively close and accessible and they are not. The cabins are up kept and nice, but the...

“If there would be children play ground and if it would have car going to the pond site, for children and elderly people it would be much better. Other than that everything is good.”

“Our stay at the Persimmon Cabin on Faith Mountain was amazing! From the attentive hospitality by Mark and Patti to the exceptional hiking experience throughout the property. The cabin also offers convenient day trips to nearby communities and state parks. Faith Mountain will be kept on our radar for every return trip to wild and wonderful West Virginia!!”
