“We had an excellent stay, the hotel was clean, the beds comfortable, a full hot breakfast was provided which was great! We didn’t have time to use the pool area but we did stop by. It was clean and the water felt warm. The people on staff were helpful and polite upon checking in and checking out. Price was very reasonable too, this hotel was a gem! ”

“The cabin was fun to stay in. I'm not a LOTR person but I still appreciated it all. Only down side I would say is I'm a longer shower person and the hot water is more for quick showers ”

“We had a great time staying at the cabin in the woods. We came up for a relaxing weekend and really enjoyed the cozy and relaxing space. The fireplace and the sauna helped keep us warm during some of the coldest days of the year. Eric and Audrey were great hosts and were quick to respond with any questions we had and were great communicators. We look forward to planning a future trip staying here again. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay while visiting my dad in Little Falls. The location was great — close to downtown with lots of wonderful restaurants and cute shops nearby. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The fenced-in yard was a huge plus and perfect for our dog. It was a relaxing and easy place to stay, and we would definitely come back. Shannon was great host!”

“Cabin was wonderful. Host answered questions quickly. Weather did not cooperate so we enjoyed being able to hang out as a family and have enough room for everyone inside when needed. Covered deck in the back was awesome to sit and enjoy the view. ”

“Fantastic home for a family get away. Great fishing located with in a 100 ft of shore. The game room is a plus, but you cannot beat the location. Kitchen has everything you could need (and more). The hosts, or home owners, are exceptional. Very attentive and quick to respond! Absolute 5 out of 5 stars!”

“Our host was always easy to communicate with. The house met our needs for our family Christmas celebration. The kitchen was well equipped which doesn’t always happen. Would recommend this place for especially for a large group. ”

“The Hillman Retreat House is a gem. The amenities are amazing. We had so much fun playing family floor hockey games in the gym, brewing 2 pots of coffee and the endless spaces the family could spread out and enjoy time together. The games and puzzles were fun and they had many options to keep kids entertained. We highly recommend this property as a getaway for families with all ages. ”
