“Small but comfortable and clean room. As it is historic and old building atmoaphere was incredible, but it wont have the new big windows in the room etc. But beautiful, comfortable stay”

My only disappointment was our room 115 from the minute we got in it just smelt of drains and as the time went on it got worse to the point it was making us feel sick. We never complained because of wedding party but as we were leaving a few more couples mentioned the smell next door to ours and across from us. “Stopped over at short notice for one night. Immaculate, quiet, great japanese hot tub”

“Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome.”
