“We stayed here for one night when we went to the theatre. The hotel being only a stone thrown from the theatre and town centre made it a great choice. All areas of hotel were clean as was our room. We were very happy with our pre theatre meal and buffet Breakfast. All staff were helpful and we will certainly stay at The Old Hall again.”

Managed to get a parking space in the very tight car park. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely breakfast. Great cocktails. Will come again ”

“Lovely vibe, staff are great and friendly, happy to chat with guests. The gentleman who changed are room was very helpful as we requested to move to the other side of the hotel, away from the road (light sleepers) and they were happy to help. Would recommend to anyone, great place to stay and fantastic location for walking, cycling etc”

“Plenty of safe parking onsite. Didn't have breakfast, but had fish n chips for supper and it was really tasty. Room and pub was well maintained and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Reception is fully automated (no dedicated reception staff) but housekeeping and pub staff can provide some assistance. Ideal location for Chatsworth and the surrounding area.”

“Room was well-appointed, of a decent size and with a refurbished bathroom. Housekeeping staff friendly and efficient. The Lee Wood has always been one of my favourite hotels in Buxton. Only complaint was that it didn’t snow - which is hardly the fault of the hotel!”
