“Calor insoportable y habitación sin aire acondicionado. El aire solo en la recepción. El baño da pena, Todo descascarillado. Las paredes de separación de las habitaciones son de papel de fumar. Si tienes la mala suerte de tener vecinos ruidosos imposible dormir. Ese fue nuestro caso. Ni la intervención de la recepción a las 2 de la mañana les calló. “El hotel se encuentra en una ubicación privilegiada dentro de Exeter, a 5min andando tanto del centro como del muelle ("quay"). El edificio, un antiguo hospital, es realmente bonito por fuera y muy cuidado por dentro. El personal muy agradable, y el desayuno increíble, con servicio de cocina aparte del buffet. Como pega, el tamaño de las habitaciones "individuales", verdaderamente pequeñas, aunque acogedoras.”

“A very pleasant stay, the place is very quiet, accessible and with a huge parking lot. The staff was very helpful. We loved the restaurant with a great variety of dishes, which we enjoyed as much as we could in our short stay. The room, cozy and comfortable.”

We booked in for dinner which was a little disappointing as there was a 90minute wait for mains, with no warning when ordering via the QR code as instructed. When the meals came they were small portions and and overcooked (steak & chips). They did appear to be short-staffed. “Very good location for the centre of the City, next to the Roman wall with the Cathedral on the other side. Peeved that the gym was free but the pool, sauna etc. was £10 per session, but that was a minor niggle. Bar food decent and fairly priced. Used as a base to explore Exeter and beyond.”
