“Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning.”

“We were a little disappointed with our stay . It was impossible to hang clothes in the wardrobe in Bedroom 1 as it was stacked high with bed linen . Also a lot of bed linen in other wardrobe . The fan in one of the bathrooms was not working resulting in a lot of condensation on the floor making it very slippery . The canisters which may have held tea and sugar were empty . “We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet.
