“We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

“We loved our stay at this little corner of paradise. We stayed at the cottage and were positively surprised about the (covered) outdoor bathroom. Our son loved the hammock and the swings. The location of the cottage nestled in the pure rainforest combined with the lovely hospitality of Matt were just a perfect match. Definite recommendation! ”

“Amazing place! Has everything you need except cellular service - but let’s be honest you don’t need that either. Host was great and had suggestions on things to see nearby. The on property swimming hole was so nice for a hot summer day. Visit the insect museum nearby if it is open. ”

“Our stay at CapeTrib Farmstay was a trip back to nature. It gave us peace, relaxation and home comforts and all secluded within the farms ripening fruit trees. The cabin had an air conditioned bedroom a funtional bathroom and the extended canopy provided cover for comfy seating and a kitchen with gas burners and fridge freezer in an open air environment. Our Host Sam provided us with a fresh picked fruit platter which was a delight and he was very helpful with local knowledge and his kindness...

“An oasis in the rainforest. Enjoyed long warm soak in most glorious outdoor bathtub, after refreshing cool dip in natural waterhole at creek. Lovely, quaint cottage with architectural flair, and well appointed, while being sustainable. Just gorgeous and central to all tourist attractions in Daintree.”
