“Every thing was excellent”

“Friendly, great getaway and close to the hot springs, lovely to sit in the hot tub, watch a movie and enjoy a couple glasses of champagne, perfect night away for any couple, highly recommend”

“No drink water was provided in the bar fridge”

“The motel is in a good location and right near a great cafe called Cello. The room had everything I needed and was clean and well kept. The double spa bath was great to relax in, however the jets didn't work that well, but it didn't bother me. There was a lovely welcoming note from the motel staff, and they were happy to help when I locked myself out of my room. It was afordable, in a good location and staff make you feel welcome.”

“Staff were very friendly and not arrogant at all. Very down to earth which we enjoyed and felt very welcome. Room was very big and not felt crowded. Shower was a double in a renovated modern bathroom. There were tables and chairs on the balcony up stairs that we could sit and watch the world go by. Meals were a good size and delicious. Car parking at rear too. Tables and chairs with an umbrella outdoor seating were popular. In the heart of the Daylesford township making it an easy access to...

“Amazing stay. The room was beautiful and possibly the cleanest I’ve ever encountered. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bar staff were incredible at making cocktails and the restaurant served the best lamb I’ve ever had. Would 100% stay here again!”

“Room was very comfortable. We really appreciated the staff allowing us to check in late and leaving the lights & heating on for our arrival. Would stay at the motel again.”

“Clean & roomy, everything you need is there. Shower was good. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Walking distance to supermarket & main street of town.”

“We organised to stay here with a few friends. Unfortunately our friends room was mouldy and was unsafe to stay in. They staff moved them to another location but this inconvenienced us as we planned a weekend away to hang out but different locations ruined that for us all. I wouldn't recommend to stay here. The rooms are small , the bed was uncomfortable. We did not have a good experience.”

“Good value and location. Bed was really comfortable. Poor lighting in room and bathroom. Venue felt like it was mid renovation.”

“Lake view”

“Needs to be maintained more. Bath not ideal for older couples. The room was very dark and poor lighting.”

“This motel is 5 star! Beautifully modernised and renovated, tastefully decorated with class and style. This isn't your average "this will do" basic room; this place is quality, comfortable, intentional, welcoming and pretty. It's the kind of room that you feel kind of sad to leave. The receptionist Sam was helpful and considerate, and we loved every minute of our stay here. If ever I have reason to stay in Daylesford, the Art Motel will be my first preference! Can't rate it high enough!”

“Warm and cosy. Plenty of blankets as well were in the middle of winter with frosty mornings. Enjoyed our stay”

“I think the photos give the impression that this property is a little more "together" than it actually is. Whilst the bed linen and towels were on point and the bedding itself very comfortable, I'm afraid everything else was old, tired and mismatched making it feel more like someone else's holiday shack than simple cottage. The equipment in the kitchen is mismatched and hodge-podge and very minimal. Bring everything if you plan on cooking here, including utensils and oil etc. No milk was...

“Dear Expedia Customer Support, I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding our recent accommodation booking at The American Creswick during the AFL long weekend. My wife and I drove approximately 150 km to the property for our booked one-night stay. When we arrived, we were shocked to find that the hotel was closed and there was a prominent “FOR SALE” sign displayed on the building. We immediately contacted the property by telephone. Approximately 20 minutes later, a man arrived, opened...
