“We had an amazing stay at the Bower! Sarah, John and their adorable dog Rosie were super friendly and ensured we had a comfortable stay in the cabin. The cabin itself was beautiful and tidy with thoughtful decor all around the place. I would recommend this stay to anyone :)”

“the place is great just don't expect too much. great for the price and affordable for family who just want to unwind. we went down the wheeny creek with 4wd and had some kayaking or boating. some walking tracks are abit overgrown. doesn't have microwave. nonetheless, will definitely come back”

“This house truly felt like a home, the warm fireplace and the soft carpet making a perfect cozy balance. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need, and the views are spectacular. You can feed the horses carrots, the house is very warm, and it can accommodate thirteen people.”

“Very easy access and directions Maria was great to inform me of everything I needed as it was perfect for my requirements for the weekend ”

“All the members of the family had a great time over Christmas at this Bilpin farmstay. The host was welcoming then left us to do our own thing, before returning to check if all was well (without interrupting us) and then again to say "Goodbye."The facilities suited our 4 families and all grandchildren from 11 to 23 enjoyed doing some things together or just chilling out. The farm dam with its kayaks and swimming was a hit. Even on the day it rained lightly there were options to keep people...

“A fantastic family friendly and well maintained property. We had a lovely relaxing stay. The owner was gracious and responsive when we had a mishap with a breakage. The riverside dining area is spectacular and one-of-a-kind. ”

“The cottage was so quiet and cosy! The fireplace was amazing and it had everything you would need. It is in a perfect location and close to lots of cafes in Bilpin and we had a wedding at Chapel Hill Retreat and it was only 5 mins away. ”

“So relaxing. Such a fantastic place and location. Thankyou.”

“Everything was fantastic during our stay. The cleanliness, the view from the back balcony, the quietness, the appliances, the BBQ, we had everything we needed. Not to mention being able to have a fire at night inside while watching a film, and also being able to have a fire outside if we wanted to stay outdoors and watch the stars while being able to relax with a glass of wine. We all desperately wanted to extend our stay! Not to mention Philip was friendly, and offered great advice for our...

“Idyllic location, just far enough off the main road so beautifully quiet. Beautiful garden setting with a sun drenched verandah, lovely spot to read a book or have lunch. The house is comfortable, everything works. Friendly hosts, with gorgeous dogs that keep kids busy and entertained. A great spot to go with a young family with the dogs to play with and the horses to feed, a swing in the garden and plenty of space to run around. ”

“verynice”

“Host was friendly, helpful, and flexible. Amenities were nice and clean. Kitchen tap has filtered drinking water and the TV has Netflix albeit intermittent connectivity issues. Shame the wifi wasn’t usable for guests as Optus and Telstra don’t have coverage there, but that was probably mentioned in the listing and I missed it. Deb was lovely at every interaction and the place was really cozy and peaceful. ”

“Nice and welcoming host. House was clean and functional. The host was nice enough to supply free eggs, some herbs from the garden and some drinks. Also provided details regarding local restaurants and cider companies, etc. ”

“Our stay was fantastic, we all had an amazing time. The house, pool and surrounds were great. We particularly enjoyed using the fire pit and the visits from the peacocks each day. ”
