“We were in town for a family function and this property couldn't not have been more perfect. You feel very secluded because you are in a wooded neighborhood but it is very easy to find and roads are easy to navigate. A big plus .. you can be in town with just a 10 minute or so drive. Try to visit The Sawmill Place for breakfast if you can ... the food is delicious and staff are so nice. There's a little bit of a wait but worth it. You can rock on the front porch while you wait. “We stayed a Thursday- Sunday. Kitchen 10 stars- there was everything you needed and more- stove gas and top of the line. The fire pit surrounded by ferns and bordered by a babbling creek was just what we needed. Placed the chairs in creek and watched the minnows and listened to the frogs. 1920s claw foot tub- icing on the cake. Out of all the places we’ve stayed this is our favorite. We will be back. ”

“Our stay was great. The property was exactly as described and was a cute cozy cabin in the woods. Still close to shops and restaurants but definitely quiet and out of the way. We brought our older dog so the grounds were a little harder for her to navigate because of the incline behind the house but it was still manageable. ”
