“The property is good for people who love the nature and wild. The noise of the frogs is loud and if you can’t handle noise at night do not stay here. The shower was outside with no door and the bathrooms are also outside but you can’t flush you have to use dirt.”

“This property’s location is probably one of the best in the Captain Cooks area, the views from the pool deck are stunning. Sarah’s breakfasts are one of a kind, fresh, healthy and a different taste everyday. At the Luana-Inn you’ll feel like at home, no room service but everything you need is available, just ask. The 2 cabins near the pool need acoustical insulation from the floor above. The Captain cook area is like a jungle, luscious green and beautiful winding roads to get to the property....

“Is it not a good place for more than one night. Don't choose this place. We stayed 6 nights, they didn't change the blankets once, they only changed the bath towels once. There's no privacity. They offer free breakfast. We took it for 2 days, until we saw how she prepares the juice. She squeezes oranges full of mold, we asked her why she does it like that and she said there is not problem, that it does not taste bad and she has always done it that way. The house is located in an area which is walking distance to the water, which does involve a long and windy drive down the hill from highway 11, the Mamalahoa Hwy. The accommodations are comfortable and spacious. The host is charming and hospitable.”

“This was a lovely place to stay for our family of six (kids ranging 9-16). It is not new, but it has a lovely homey feel and was clean. We put two kids in bunk beds, one on the couch, and another on the living room bed. The living room space was comfortable for watching movies together and the dining room/lanai accommodated us well for meals.
