“We loved this property and would stay here again! It was just as described. It's in a quiet residential area and is a perfect getaway spot with good privacy. Every morning, we relished the beginning of our day by sipping coffee on the balcony while searching for the resident donkey. Just witnessing the sunrise light up the breathtaking landscape each morning was truly calming. “We were looking for a place to stay for the night outside of Hilo while exploring that side of the island. This little cottage is clean, spacious and directly across the road from a beautiful, secluded black sand beach. It was magical! We would absolutely stay here again and enjoy it for a longer stay. “We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer had we had the time. The cottage and property were absolutely beautiful, offered everything we needed, and Laurel was a lovely hostess. The breakfast with fresh fruit grown on site was a perfect way to get acquainted with Hawaii. We had to google what some of the fruit was and how to eat them. So much fun, and super fresh and delicious. Great experience!”
