“This house was physically perfect for us. The number of bedrooms, the layout of the house (wonderful for gatherings), the pool and the fenced in yard was perfect for our large family and the pets that came with us. Hanging out in the open spaces, cooking together and just enjoying each other was awesome and easy. Having put that very important part of it first, there were some "bumps". “We booked the property to attend a music festival with college friends. This was one of the more unique rentals I've stayed in. It had all the basic amenities and lots of space, but what really sets it apart is the personality of the owners that comes through in the way it is furnished: cabin-chic and mid-century modern furniture. It's off the beaten path both literally and figuratively. We enjoyed our stay and would consider returning.”

“It was very clean, very very cute, you don’t have direct view of the lake from the porch but there’s a super cute little pond and the lake is a ten second walk from the cabin. If you’re worried about the AC don’t be, it works incredibly well and never gave us any issues!”

“The business shut down and someone new took over July 1. He said he did not have any revations. He also said things were in such bad shape I would not want to stay in one of the room, I did not take a room there and spent several hours finding a place to stay.”

“It was handy to everywhere in Bennington (which, admittedly is a small town)and was a fine place to stay. Parking was a bit dicey, being on a steep side hill, and the main walkway out front ( a first floor balcony) was tilted a bit away from the building- a drink and I might have been over into the driveway. I would stay there again.”

“What a delightful little cottage! Windows on all sides let the sun and stars in and the weather out. We were welcomed by grazing cows and saw a spectacular firefly show at dusk. The perfect escape from the modern world.”
