“A little bit hard to find the entrance that's behind the barn. The whole place was clean. Had a setup that was sufficient to cook or stay for a long time. I was only there for 2 days but the kitchen had an oven and other appliances. Brightly lit during the day from the windows and just a nice little stay.”

“Our short weekend stay at Ambyr’s home was wonderful. She graciously accepted our three dogs after our original host had to cancel (due to unexpected circumstances). The house and the property were wonderful. Our dogs loved that there was much to explore. By Saturday evening, they were wiped out! The house is within a short driving distance to so many attractions and it’s also been recently updated . We would definitely recommend! ”

“This place is exactly as advertised. Super clean and well maintained with plenty to do for the family. We stayed while it was still cold out, but my kids (8 & 7) had a great time in the game room and movie room.”

“Pros:- The location of the house is great.- Excellent views of the lake from the kitchen and living room. - Nice layout - 2 bedrooms downstairs - 1 upstairs with attached bath. (Small beds upstairs). - plenty of blankets and pillows.- Deposit wasn’t charged until close to check-in and refunded a couple days after check out.- Property manager VERY (too?) communicative - so I’m sure any problems can be addressed quickly.Cons:- The management of the property is a bit much. “The house was a short drive from the Syracuse campus. We enjoyed the beautiful views and comfortable rooms. Beak and Skiff was very close by and made for a great afternoon outing! Wish we had more time to enjoy the area!”

“We were up in the Homer area for my daughter's college graduation weekend and stayed at this property which sat directly on Skaneatlas Lake. The interior has a very curious decoration style that seemed to tell a story in each room, which I found very interesting. Communication with the host was great, as described, and you can't beat the location right on the lake!”
