“We had a wonderful stay at the Shandaken Inn - it really exceeded our expectations. The property is lovely and the inn is extremely well maintained and comfortable. Everything you need is right there. The outdoor dining area looks out to the open space and the surrounding mountains. We loved sitting around the fire pit later in the evening and enjoyed meeting other guests as well. The food was great - breakfast choices were abundant and dinner was delicious. “Fabulous stay, my daughter and I were sad to leave even though we were headed to the beach from the Inn. Friendly inn keepers and cooks. Yummy breakfasts and a cozy room. We stayed in The Library. All in all a perfectly enchanting place! I am hoping to visit Ithica every season and if I do I will stay at this Inn.”

“Beautiful room and home, very clean!! Loved the amenities too. Amazing bathroom. Only issue was that the walls were very thin and we could hear everything other guests were doing. Since there are no TVs in the rooms, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop at times. We felt like we had to whisper inside our room. Perfect for a quiet getaway but bring earplugs just in case there’s a snorer in the next room.”

“Just terrific!!! What a kind and caring staff!! Eating in the beautiful garden, sleeping under the skylight in my room, snacks, juice, coffee and tea available at all times... I was on the 4th floor and they carried my luggage up and would have carried it down had I remembered to ask ahead of my 6am departure! Really really love this place!”
