Clean and comfortable for all age groups, something to entertain everybody, the community is very helpful respectful really enjoyed the small town atmosphere. Small general store within walking distance,Their ice cream was a hit.It’s nice to be able to walk to the beach. beautiful ocean views from the kitchen nook.The little ones love the bonus room perfect kids area. The host was great getting back to us quickly.There was a big wind storm and knocked out the power, but the house has solar, which was great to keep the fridge running.Getting cell service was a problem, so the Wi-Fi helped out a lot.Good thing we took screenshots of the directions before leaving the house.cell Service did go in and out.The house had everything we needed from kitchen needs to bedding and towels and were well kept. Great stay!

Amazing again

This was our second time staying at the Sea Star Haven and would gladly stay again. The short walk to the beach (if you take the hill/rock path) always provides amazing views. The house is well stocked for cooking and the hot tub, air hockey, and pool table never fail to keep everyone entertained. The double set of washers and dryers are super helpful as well.

Yes again!!

Family gathering at this wonderful home. Excellent location with walking path to Dillon beach. climbing sand dunes, running with the waves, watching the surfers....Small town within walking distance with excellent baked goods!! House was clean and so welcoming. Well laid out with air hockey, pool table, and hide-a-way for kids.... Would definitely return! Linda was so kind. checking in after the first night to make sure all was well...

Merry Christmas at Dillon Beach

Family gathering was wonderful. Great family home loads of fun and food. Amazing kitchen. Steps from the beach. We even did some winter swimming. Great home ! They even had x-mas lights and a tree we decorated.

Beautiful home. Close to the beach, for a lovely walk! Our favorite spot to read is the bench seat, in the sun, overlooking the neighborhood, with a peak of the ocean! Very comfortable home!

Lovely Stay at Sea Star Haven, But Be Prepared for a Few Challenges

We stayed at Sea Star Haven for two nights from Wednesday, October 16 to Friday morning, October 18. Overall, it was a good experience. The house is beautiful, cozy, and very clean, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. However, there are a few things that future guests should be aware of to better prepare for their stay: 1. **No Cell Service**: Once you get into town, there is no cell service. Be sure to plan ahead if you need communication or navigation tools that rely on cellular data. 2. **Limited Dining Options**: The only restaurant in town Coastal Kitchen is closed Monday through Wednesday, so be sure to bring all your meals with you, especially if you're staying mid-week like we did. 3. **Raccoons at Night**: There's a family of raccoons living under the house next door, and they got into the trash and were quite loud during the night. If you're taking out trash after dark, be cautious. They are very cute but very feisty! 4. **Power Outage**: On our last night, the power went out. While the backup generator worked for a while, we had no Wi-Fi or power when we woke up in the morning. This meant no coffee, no hot breakfast, and we had to take cold showers. The power didn’t come back on until 9:45 am, which was quite inconvenient since check-out is at 11 am. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay, but just be mindful of these things to ensure you’re fully prepared!

Family Memories

Linda made the check in process very easy. The house was very clean and cozy. Thank you so much for letting my family stay at your lovely home. Absolutely Beautiful

Beautiful home and location. Home was exactly as described in listing. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Host was very responsive. I loved that there was beach gear we could actually use. Plenty of games to play. Check in and out was easy. I'd like to thank the hosts for their suggestions and troubleshooting sections in the home manual!

A perfect home for the perfect weekend

We so enjoyed the home - decorated and furnished beautifully, so warm and inviting. Easy check-in, great communication with the owner, no problems. Super, super easy check-out instructions. Location was amazing, short walk to Dillon Beach store. This neighborhood is full of short-term rentals, but I like to think this was the nicest of them all!
