“The room was clean, Staff excellent, Bar fully stocked, Wifi good. Room was very small 10foot wide 20foot long, bed very soft, no good for people with back problems. Advertised as B&B cleaner had to get manager in to do breakfast which was basically a bacon sandwich. No breakfast the following day even though it was the chef who let us out of building!”

“The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door
The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event.
Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night.
It's basic no thrills hotel. Also lift out of order.”

“The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. “The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home.
Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)”

“When we arrived just after 2pm it was like stepping onto the Marie Celeste. We finally found a few customers who told us that only member of staff doing front of house was getting ice cream for their daughter. When she appeared we asked about food but was told that the kitchen closed at 2 and that we would need to go out if we were hungry.

“The price at the bar was horrendous £11 for a glass of pressecco and £8 for a pint of lager. Thers no need to charge this much with the volume of people going to a wedding. They have got your pants down really. Needs to be better signage for each wedding party as guests were in the wrong wedding. The furniture in the wedding venues very poor ...chairs were so wobbly not safe at all. The hotel itself is lovely the rooms are spacious clean and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was really nice ....
