“The place was on a beautiful lake well stocked with everything you’d need for a cottage stay. I especially love the kayaks. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was great for all our cooking needs. The host was super responsive too”

“We were able to find this gem, 5 minutes away from a wedding we were attending. The cottage is clean and new, bedding included. There are it board games, and Avery nice area/dock in a clean river. I do need to say to bring extra garbage bags as we found no extras.”

“Second time staying this year. First time was in August, we stayed in the “Chalet” but this time (October) we stayed in a 2-bedroom. Much nicer and more private than the Chalet. We saw many deer and wild turkeys around the property and it was lovely overall. It was our 15th wedding anniversary and although I sent a message to the property about that, asking about firewood for the fireplace, they did not respond. So they aren’t the best at communicating but we had a quiet nice anniversary...

“This is a great cottage in a perfect location on a private lake. It easily accommodated 2 adults, 4 tweens/teens and our 2 dogs. We've rented a lot of cottages and Emma is by far one of the best hosts we've ever rented from. Great communication/responsiveness and well detailed instructions made this a perfect trip. Only 3 mins into the small town of Novar for some groceries/wine or less than 15 mins to get to downtown Huntsville. We'll definitely be looking to rent this cottage again!”

“Terri was very attentive, responsive, made accommodations for us, and was available to make a minor repair the same day we reported it.The rental is exactly as expected, had everything we needed. I would say the only area that could use improvement would be the cleaning. The property would seem far more attractive if it had been cleaned more carefully inside and especially outside (the deck, outside furniture, etc.)”

“The property in beautiful, newly renovated and very comfortable. We loved the trampoline and all of the water toys! Kitchen was well-equipped, towels and bedding all new and fresh. A very comfortable stay! The lake is beautiful and excellent for swimming. Virginia was extremely responsive. We had an issue with hot water. She and her husband came down to fix it. She answered all my questions expediently. We will definitely be back!”

“Overall good! Only a few issues that came up. When we arrived the cottage floor was not well cleaned. The carpet had chips from the previous users. We also had a heavy rain which caused a washout of the driveway leaving a heavy crevice in the road. The owners of the cottage were not responsive to this issue. The waterfront was wonderful though and we overall had a good week. ”

“Cottage Binx hosted our two families for a cottage getaway. The cottage was nestled in the woods on the Muskoka river and provided great privacy. The cottage itself was very clean and perfectly accommodated our two families. Our host Tej was excellent in answering any questions we had during our stay, always responding within minutes. The cottage has kayaks, and the kids loved fishing on either the paddle boat or the aluminum rowboat. The fire pit area was awesome for a campfire and roasting...

“This was the perfect place to get the extended family together and there was something to do for everyone!! Communication was great! When we had questions they were answered immediately. The house was very spacious with great views of the river. The kitchen was large and well equipped. We prepared a full Thanksgiving dinner in it.
