“We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas.”

“This is a lovely old cottage with a modern kitchen and bathroom extension. It had everything you need in a cottage, was clean and warm. The garden would be a lovely spot to sit in warm weather. I would recommend it.”

“Love, love, love this inn. Amazing property in a beautiful village. Lots of great, easy walking spots. There is a bus from Dorchester station that takes you to a stop right next to the inn. YES!! Also, the food and drinks at the inn are a homerun plus. Love, love, love this place.”

“We stayed here for our anniversary. We booked a garden suite where we could park outside and had a little court yard area with chairs to enjoy the summer sun. we had access to the gym and pool, steam room and sauna which was a lovely way to end our day. The staff were helpful and happy to help when we had any questions. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if we were in the area ”

“Beautiful old Inn”

“The property was quirky due to the age of the building but also homely, very clean and had everything you wanted, bathroom was lovely and bed comfy. The rooms have been made out of an old bakery and they have done a superb job. There is also a large beer garden. We ate in the restaurant where they have a log fire and good choice of menu. The couple that run it are lovely and friendly even lent my husband a tie, for the wedding we were going too. Couldn't ask for more. ”
