It was within walking distance of the lake, the water park, restaurants, and coffee shops, which made it very convenient to explore the area. “This hotel was built in 2011, but you’d never know it—it looks brand spanking new. Everything is fresh, clean and very pretty, and the front-desk staff were outstandingly warm and welcoming. We had breakfast the following morning and were very well looked after by the lovely breakfast attendant. There’s a pool, although we stayed over a long weekend, when it was understandably full of small children joyfully hurling water at one another. “Advertised that every room has a fireplace but you can’t use them because they turned them off for the summer…. On top of that, our room was completely covered in ants. EVERYWHERE!! And the first response from the staff was a very snobby “ DID YOU SPILL SOMETHING!” We just got there and there were hundreds of them. They did swap us to another room but no discount or anything. I will definitely not be back!”
