“A very pleasant short break at Hollins Hall. Staff were excellent and the food in the Grill on the Hill was delicious. The leisure centre was well equipped and very clean. Yes, the hotel is starting to show its age but overall the stay was very enjoyable. ”

“We stayed for a week over Christmas. The room was clean, comfy and fairly modern. The staff were amazing; helpful and respectful every time we spoke to them. The breakfast was good; selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit and pastries for a light breakfast. Sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans if you wanted something hot. Overall, excellent value for money!”

“We had 3 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves We made the most of the lovely pool. Had 4 swims in the 4days… the leisure staff were always so helpful and friendly. Very impressed with that and their happy attitudes. We enjoyed the 5*breakfast and ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings. The food was excellent and lots of choice. “I was kept fully informed of the check-in procedure (there si no desk), room information and even warnings about local road closures by email from Karen. The room was marvellous; clean, spacious and with a very shiny bathroom. The bed was the best I've slept in for ages and the quiet made for an excellent night's sleep. A lovely touch was the porridge pot and pain au chocolat left out for breakfast. The setting is spectacular; high above Sowerby Bridge with stunning views across the valley. ”

“Parking is good we didn’t have a drink in the bar. We have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill. Poor maintenance in the bathroom… no hot water for a shower or a wash! Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! “The pub was fantastic all the staff and locals made us feel very welcome even bringing a sausage and a bit of steak out for our dog. The food was amazing all top quality and the room was incredible, double walk in shower and stand alone bath. Just what was needed after a fab day walking Pendle top!! We will defo be back”
