“Rozanne was a wonderful host and ever so friendly. The house is in a good location, close to everything. The rooms are very big and comfortable.”

“Gingerbread cottage was a lovely cottage it had everything you needed. However the bay was rather lacking in things for the children to do. For the size of the place the play park was disappointing. The children loved the swimming pool but apart from that there was nothing for them to do. I found it very tired and in need of some upgrading. It felt more like a retirement village than a holiday park.”

“Overall great stay Used as base location and exploring whitby Robins hood bay and Scarborough Will stay again Downside bench right outside the main door bit off putting but apart from that great”

“Todo bien, el staff bien, la ubicacion es genial!! Solo las condiciones del colchon del sofacama no son las mejores y el deposito que solicitan, aun no me lo han desbloqueado son 100£, espero lo hagan pronto 🙏 ”

“We always love The Bay at Filey and have stayed previously in other excellent accommodation, this is by far our favourite due to its location on Blue Anchor Road, which has a sleepy exclusive feel to it. Sandy Feet Retreat is superb!! Clean, cosy and comfortable we had the most relaxing 4 days. Everything you could possibly need is available, all in great working order and clean. We would definitely return, and recommend this property to others. The Bay is a fantastic base for what we wanted a...

“Sandy Bay hideaway is in a great position, close to the pool, shop, pub and path to the beach, but is still very quite and relaxing. We enjoyed our trip, but sandy bay was visibly run down and just felt a little tired, with what looked like mould on my sons bedroom carpet floor, the bed bases looked old and mould round both shower floors / screens, a lot of paint work scuffed / faded in every room and some of the kitchen equipment / drawers were dirty and / or damaged, as well as the master...

“Really enjoyed our stay. It's in a great location, clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 5.”

“Fabulous place to stay Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington close destination to get to. Fabulous time with family and the weather was perfect ”

“La ubicación es muy buena, estas a pocas cuadras de todos los puntos turísticos de York. El departamento es muy espacioso y que tenga dos baños es buenísimo. Sin embargo tiene problemas de limpieza. Toda el area de la cocina y el living estaban bastante sucias. También había un problema de polillas, por lo que llamar a un fumigador no seria una mala idea. El wifi es decente. Tiene una extraña decoración pero supongo que eso es cuestión de gustos. La relación precio calidad es mala así que no...

“The cottage was well equipped, spacious, and suited our purpose for a family of 4 adults. Initial problem with the heating was quickly resolved by the management. The only observation we have is that having 2 dogs, it would have been nice to have a mop so we could mop the floors.”

“Nice house. A bit of a walk to an otherwise a great beach.”

“We had great time. Great location.Would recommend this place to others.”
