“room was spotless ,hotel gardens where beautiful, dinner and breakfast was amazing.reason for 3 star rating was given due to reception staff not dealing with our complaint of having no hot water when showering before dinner and was not much better the following morning.”

“El hotel está muy bien pero está enmedio de casas no hay comercios”

“Rooms where clean and well maintained. Sadly food was poor, we ate in the restaurant on the first evening, one meal was over cooked while my lamb was very chewey. Breakfast on day 2 was poor, they said it would be cooked to order but it looked and tasted like it had come from the buffet they had just cleared from a coach party. The staff were variable some abrupt and others went through the motions but werent enjoying their jobs??!”

“The staff are most welcoming and helpful. They make you feel that they really care about your experience at the hotel. If I owned an hotel I would be trying to poach them.”

“Servicio regular al hacer la habitación llegaron tarde para hacerla y mal hecho. La ventana no cerraba está en mal estado. No tenía la habitación aire acondicionado ”

“No restaurant closed got a voucher for seamill hydro should be telling you this when you book hotel”

“Room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good with excellent coffee”

“Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well.”

“Habitacion muy correcta y limpia. Con cafe y te en la habitacion. Muy cerca de la estacion del tren que llega del aeropuerto Prestwick.”

“couldn’t fault it. lovely clean room, good food , outside area very well maintained and plenty of parking. would stay again.”

“small , well equipped, we'll worth the visit”

“Casa rural con habitaciones muy bonitas y una dueña muy amable. Ademas ofrece un desayuno excelente a la hora que quieras”

“We just had one night here before catching the early ferry to Isle of Arran and it was perfect. Good location with allocated parking spot. Easy check in with clear instructions upfront. Well equipped room, nicely decorated and a comfortable bed. We had room 6 at the back, which was very quiet. Also convenient for eating out in town. Would recommend.”

“Lovely night spent here. Has lovely atmosphere and real quality. Feels like you are in a much more expensive hotel. All staff were friendly and the food was great. Will definetly be back.”

“Sitio idílico muy recomendable el mejor de los 4 que hemos estado en Escocia con diferencia totalmente recomendable limpio con buenos servicios y gran desayuno de los mejores q he probado”

“I had the best stay here! Sinclair was an amazing host, as well as the rest of the staff st the guesthouse too. I loved the little touch of the cookies and the bottles of water in the room too. Breakfast was tasty too. I would recommend anyone to stay here, I know I’ll be coming back here when I’m next in Ayr. Thank you all at the Lochinver Guesthouse!”
