“Small, quiet and clean hotel. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights but we haven’t been given rooms close to each other and we have been asked to pay extra £100 to get closer room. Breakfast time is very short 08:30 to 09:30 in my opinion just to save money and not paying for a chef. We have asked for ice cubes for our drinks but our request has been rejected. Check out time is so early at 10:00 am again just for the owner to save money and not paying for the staff. ”

“I booked an economy class room but I have got an economy class room with sea view which was a surprise. The room was clean and all the necessary items were their. I enjoyed the spa treatment and pool and hot tub. I enjoyed walking by the river side. It was fantastic and adventures stay. ”

“Good acomodation booked in with the new property owner Kurt, we were the second transaction made on his hotel account, chap by the bar beat us to no 1 position by a matter of minutes, Kurt had recently bought the Castle Hotel friday the 1st of September was his first day so basically hit the road running! He explained theres going to be big changes / improvements over the coming months so watch the space, as a New Zealander the bar area is going to be a sport bar area with some great rugby...
