    The Space:

    All-new as of 2022, this fantastic lake house is your ticket to peaceful Northwoods living and endless fun for the whole family. Nestled on the shores of Eagle River's Meta Lake, this five-bedroom stunner boasts private water access and a host of outdoor amenities including water toys and lawn features. Winter guests will enjoy the snowmobile trails available two miles from the home. Swim and fish from the private pier or launch one of the two kayaks, paddleboard, or canoe from the sandy beach for a leisurely lake cruise. The water trampoline is also sure to be a group favorite. Make the most of summer days with backyard barbecues using the gas grill out on the deck. After enjoying a meal at one of the two outdoor dining tables, head down to the wood-burning firepit for s'mores and starlight conversation. A breezy screened porch makes a perfect spot for morning coffee or happy hour hosting. The open-concept main floor welcomes group gatherings with soaring cathedral ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling-window display showcasing stunning outdoor views. A river rock fireplace and plush sectional offer cozy comfort for movie nights on the smart TV and the sleek, stainless steel kitchen comes equipped with a full suite of appliances for handling family-style meal prep with ease. The kitchen island offers breakfast bar seating for three and the dining table can accommodate up to eight. The downstairs living room offers two sofas and a smart TV for flexible entertainment and convenience. Added perks include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom are located on the ground floor. A single bedroom and a full bathroom can be found on the main floor. Two bedrooms and a third full bathroom are located upstairs. The loft landing also comes furnished as an additional sleeping area. THINGS TO KNOW There is no public boat launch but the Eagle River chain is close by with public access. This property is managed by VueStay Vacations.

Great stay

This house was perfect for a trip with young kids (2,3,4,5) - lakefront was sandy and shallow, stairs were a great feature, plenty of floaties and life vests and boats for all! House was clean and spacious.

Great house and lake

Our family loves staying at this home. The lake is great, the kayaks/water trampoline/paddleboard all got a ton of use. The beds were very comfy and there was room for everyone to spread out.

Fantastic northwoods house!

Everything about this brand new home was great. Beautiful view of the lake and really enjoyed taking the kayaks out to soak in all the vibrant fall colors. Would definitely book another stay in the future, highly recommend!

Beautiful northwoods home

We were a group of 9 including 4 young children and everyone LOVED it! The kids enjoyed fishing on the lake and the nightly campfires. On our last night around the fire, several deer wandered not too far from us which added to the kids enjoyment. Would highly recommend this property

A fantastic place to get away!

This beautiful home was perfect for our 4-couple getaway. The well appointed kitchen worked well for all our meals. The large seating area allowed us all to gather together not only for our meals, but for great conversation. The firepit was our second conversation place, and we spent lots of time there too. Plenty of sleeping privacy and a great nature setting made that place perfect.

Great getaway

Our favorite parts of the house were the back deck overlooking the lake and the water trampoline. Our kids loved playing in the water and taking over the lower level of the house. The home was spacious, clean, had comfortable beds, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals.

Perfect for families

We love coming to this house. Its layout is perfect for families with kids of varying ages, with us all easily being able to gather in the common spaces without feeling like we're on top of each other. The biggest draw though is the water. It's absolutely pristine and perfect for swimming, especially with the water trampoline to play with. The sandy beach entry is a big hit with the kids, and we appreciate that there's no abrupt drop off to deeper water - we felt very comfortable that the kids were safe the whole time and could tell how deep the water would be. We caught a few larger fish off the dock, and probably 40+ smaller ones that were exciting for the kids to reel in. They must spray for mosquitoes because we very rarely see any bugs, even with being outside most of the day. You couldn't ask for a better up north cabin!

Beautiful Home

Brand new home, immaculately cleaned. Well stocked kitchen and linens. We loved the screened in porch and the kids enjoyed the water trampoline and paddle board. Four life jackets available—2 children, a youth, and an adult. Everything appeared brand new—even some games had never been opened. The lake was beautiful—not too busy.

It is a beautiful place for Sure!

There is plenty to love here, The home and furnishings are amazing! The dock, firepit, decks, screened porch all add to the charm. The bad would be the wi-fi, it isn't very good for watching tv... This next thing may be ticky tack, But if I am spending this much on a getaway, I would expect you to stock the place with much better toilet paper and paper towel... It was Dollar Tree brand at best. I know it sounds picky, but I didn't stay at a chain hotel, I rented a much more expensive place, I just expected better... Let's be honest here, they are making enough off this place to provide better amenities. But, all that aside, I would recommend this home 100%

This place is amazing! We were a group of 8 adult women on a Mom’s weekend away. We loved how clean and comfortable the home was. The kitchen is fully stocked. We lived around the fire-pit, on the screen porch, and on the dock. We enjoyed the provided water toys. It was nice to each have a bed to ourselves with multiple bathrooms. My only ‘complaint’ was that I couldn’t find the 8th bed on our first night. I reached out to VRBO and Vacasa and got the runaround. After multiple messages, an email providing photos, and a phone call (not my ideal on vacation), I found a local contact the owners provided in the binder. She replied back 3 hours later letting me know it was a trundle bed tucked under another bed. I was embarrassed I didn’t think of that myself and gave the recommendation to update the VRBO and Vacasa listing to include that info. I was not impressed with the timeliness of customer service but that’s nothing against the property or owners itself. Would be back to stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful north woods stay for a family

My family gathered here for a week-long vacation and had a fantastic time. We had 6 adults and had plenty of room spend time together on the main level and to retreat to on the upper and lower levels. The kitchen was very well equipped for some serious cooking, the dining table could have accommodated 2 more, and the open layout is nice so that those who are cooking or cleaning up can still be part of whatever is happening at the table or living area. We spent a ton of time on the dock and lake, and it was nice that the short path from the house to the dock is very level and accessible (no steep or uneven terrain). We had brought 2 portable/inflatable kayaks just in case but didn’t even set one of them up since the house had 2 kayaks, a canoe, and a paddleboard that were in good condition and ready to be used near the lake. The small beach area worked well for getting in and out of the canoe and kayaks but you do have to descend a couple feet of steep uneven land to get there which wasn’t a big problem for us. There are a few stairs off the dock into the shallow water that might make it easier for some. The lake was very quiet during the week with just a bit more activity on the weekend. The water is very clear and it was fun to see fish as you paddle around. We also caught and released a ton of fish from the dock and out in the boats (large mouth and small mouth bass, northern pike, and crappie). We saw deer, a pair of local loons, and a family of bald eagles multiple times during our stay. The house feels very private and in the woods but is only a 10-15 minute drive to both Eagle River and Three Lakes for groceries and other things (we made several trips to Scotties Bait Shop in Three Lakes who even loaned us a minnow cooler for the week). My family did a nice 2-mile hike in the state forest near Boulder Junction with very large old Pines and wildflowers. The house and management made everything super easy and pleasant and we would definitely stay here again!
