“We enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at the Castle House. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was extremely well appointed and full of character, and our breakfast was delicious. The location right in the heart of the town centre was excellent, and we were able to park nearby. Highly recommended! ”

A fan in the bathroom would be good because it’s unreasonable to expect the window to be open when freezing outside. Shower was hard to adjust. A manual when you arrive would be a help too If you had 4 people in this house it would be too small. A simple double bed in the second bedroom would provide a bit more space to move around. The young waitress who served me was originally from Kent and l recognised her accent from coming from where l used to live. My room 101 was a nice location, full view of the Scotch Corner roundabout and could see the snow and when it was clear so l could get on my way to continue my journey to Scotland.
