The staff were really friendly and our room was good, it's a shame the bar closes early, we were up there for a gig at the Town Hall and wanted a drink afterwards with our friends, luckily the Bruce Arms were very accommodating. A nice place to stay, a shame there were no biscuits in the rooms for your afternoon cuppa though.”

“We stayed for one night as a stopover on the way North and were very happy that we picked this Inn. The room was quite basic but perfectly adequate for our needs and in line with the price point. We had an evening meal in the bar area which was very good with generous portions and we were served by a lovely young lady who was very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was nothing short of excellent with good quality ingredients, perfectly prepared.”

“Loved the place, old building in a beautiful old town. It is what it is, if you want the Ritz then this isn't the place for you, but then there isn't a Ritz in Richmond. But it was fine for my wife and I, and I will definitely use again. Full English breakfast was great, along with cereal and toast and tea or coffee. Lovely”
