When we first arrived on Valentine’s Day the host had a decorated for Valentine’s Day, which was very exciting. The kids thought it was beautiful. The home was clean. There’s plenty of towels, extra blankets and everything you would need in the kitchen. unfortunately, the hot tub was not functioning, which was the main reason that we chose this house because we wanted to go in the hot tub after a long days of skiing.. The host was responsive, but wasn’t able to fix the hot tub for us. at this point, I am waiting for him to let me know what he will do to rectify the situation. I asked for a refund for 1 night. To be continued…

The house was like the photos. Unfortunately, the hot tub didn’t work when we arrived, the outdoor grill wouldn’t start (and neither did the broiler in the oven), and the heat could not be increased (it was set so that it would not burn the wood floor by the kitchen sink where one of the heaters was). The manager was responsive when we reached out about the hot tub and ordered a new heat extender. When that arrived, we got 2 days of use and then it snowed. Because the extender is not connected to an outlet for outdoor use, it stopped working again with the snow (which we realized when we went to use the tub at the end of the day). Also, it’s a gated community that can have long waits when you are trying to get in. The Christmas decorations were nice, but we cannot recommend the house for a stay.

Marvin was a great host, extremely communicative. He answered all my questions during the booking process and was immediately responsive via text during our weekend stay. The house is lovely, contemporary and clean. There were tasteful holiday decorations throughout. The beds, pillows and blankets were comfortable. The bathrooms are modern with towels provided. The beautiful kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, glassware, air fryer, appliances and even complimentary Keurig coffee pods. There is also a washer and dryer. Main Street Stroudsburg is a quick Uber away with lots of wine tasting rooms, cafes, bars, restaurants and breweries. I would definitely recommend this house and host and also visiting Stroudsburg!

The house was challenging to get to. I didn’t realize the property was inside a gated community. The given address brought us to the back gate, not the main entrance so we had to figure out how to find the main entrance. Then we had to stop to get a guest pass which wasn’t a huge deal, just all very inconvenient. As far as the house-pros: clean, nice layout, had decent amenities. Cons: messy back porch, back porch door is falling apart, not all jets work in hot tub, first floor bedroom wouldn’t stay warm due to the A/C window unit making it so drafty, dangerously hot from the furnace heat by your feet when standing at the kitchen sink (rug and floor is actually blackened/burned from the heat), needs blackout curtains in bedrooms, and most of all the location isn’t ideal as far as getting in and out of gates. Maybe others appreciate gated communities but I would have been happier in a different location. Not a horrible property but I would find somewhere else next time.

Very nice home in a private gated community, plenty of room for family and friends. Stayed at the home for 2 nights as part of my honeymoon with my husband. Wonderful screened in porch to drink morning coffee in the cool air. The backyard is a haven for squirrels and chipmunks! We were tossing acorns that landed on the back deck to them to watch them scurry away. Property manager was extremely attentive especially when a small glitch in us ordering food from a local restaurant happened and he responded very quickly to get them through security. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook. Bedrooms are very neat and clean, bathrooms also extremely clean with good water pressure. Living room couch could be a little more comfy but otherwise extremely happy with stay.Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

We enjoyed our Poconos stay so much. The house was perfectly sized for three adults and three children. Great property and overall community with lots of extras to access like baseball diamond, soccer field, basketball court, volleyball pit, and playground. We loved seeing all the deer and the falling leaves. Kitchen is fully loaded, just BYO food and can cook whatever you need. The host Marvin responded immediately and helpfully to all questions. Highly recommend!!

This house is fantastic! It's very clean, with a nice size kitchen, living room, dining room, and screened in back porch. We loved using the hot tub, cooking on the grill, playing video games on the 1-up arcade cabinet, and watching some TV (there is one in the living room AND one on the porch). It's also very close to East Stroudsburg, so running into town to get food, go shopping, or do activities is very easy. It's a lot closer to the back entrance of the community, so it might be a longer drive to check in initially, but it was very quick to get in and out once we had passes. Some other reviewers mentioned that it was difficult checking in at the gate, but it was very easy for us. Checkout was also super simple: we just had to clean up: no complicated "cleaning" required like some other places.Marvin is a wonderful host and super responsive when we had questions.Highly recommend!

Everything in the house was great. It was cozy and spacious enough for my family of 4. My 12 yr old especially loved the game room. Marvin, the host, always responded right away if I had a question. He was great!My only complaint, if I had one, was the hot tub jets didn’t always work when the water level went down. But I think that’s something that Marvin can easily fix.

Marvin was the best possible host we’ve gotten.

To start off, there were issues with check in, into the estates. That was outside of the properties control. Contacted Marvin right away, pretty immediately, was able to get my group and I through the gate. From there the place was spotless clean, and very refreshing from the summer heat. The place was very spacious, there were a ton of accessible amenities, and the area at night, exceeded expectations. There were definitely a bit of a task to check in, but Marvin made himself very present and helpful at all times. Great host, great guy ! Thank you very much Marvin !!

Wonderful Stay

My friends and I had a wonderful time in this gorgeous home! From the gazebo to the hot tub and the comfy couches, we felt at home. Marvin was responsive and helpful the whole way through. We loved being out in nature and getting a chance to relax and see all the deer!
