Quiet Location In The Heart Of Eastbourne

  • Wendy House is a delightful house in the heart of Eastbourne within a Courtyard setting. The cottage offers characterful accommodation for up to 4 people all within walking distance of the many delights of Eastbourne. We offer all the expected comforts that will make your stay pleasurable at an affordable price. The railway station is a 2 minute walk away so arrival on foot or bicycle couldn't be easier whilst also offering the opportunity for great days out. Alternatively bring your car and tour the delightful South Downs National Park including Beachy Head, Seven Sisters, the Cuckmere Valley and quaint villages scattered across the East Sussex countryside. The location of the delightful Wendy House is the main attraction giving a central base to explore on foot or have days out by train of car.

Loved this little cottage. The location is perfect for being close to town and the railway station. The cottage has everything you need, ideal for longer stays to live comfortably. Tim was a great communicator.

Wunderbar.Tim hat an alles gedacht. Super nett ihn beim Check in persönlich getroffen zu haben.Absolut zu empfehlen. Super ruhig gelegen und doch mitten im Zentrum. 15 min zu Fuß zum Strand. Bus und Bahn auch gleich um die Ecke.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Wendy House. Es war voll ausgestattet, wunderschön dekoriert und sauber.Mit dem Eigentümer hatten wir netten Kontakt. Alle Informationen zur Anreise wurden uns rechtzeitig mitgeteilt. Nachfragen zeitnah beantwortet.Als Info zur Garagengröße: Unser VW Touran hat von der Breite gerade so in die Garage gepasst.Sollten wir wieder eine Reise nach Eastbourne planen, würden wir wieder das Wendy House buchen.

A gem!

A charming, cosy property tucked away near the centre of Eastbourne. The cottage is well stocked with amenities. Tim the host is attentive and quick to respond to the concerns of guests. We had a wonderful time at Wendy House and would stay there again.

Great location, clean and cozy

We enjoyed our stay at Wendy House. The location is very convenient, close to the train station, shops, and seaside. The house is well equipped and comfortable. The host (Tim) was friendly and prompt in responding to questions.

Gemütliches Haus in ruhiger Nebenstraße

Wir haben hier eine gute Zeit verbracht. Das Haus bot alles, was wir brauchten, um uns selbst zu versorgen. Es war sauber und an alles gedacht. Die Informationen vom Vermieter waren verständlich und umfassend, der Kontakt war hervorragend und sehr freundlich.Unser gemietetes Volvo SUV war leider zu breit für die Garage, aber mit den bereitgelegten Visitor Permits war das Parken auf der Straße kein Problem, wir haben jeden Abend einen Parkplatz gefunden.

Excellent property, great location

We stayed at Wendy House for three nights. Booking and arriving could not have been any more straightforward. Tim (the owner) sent through lots of helpful information prior to our arrival and was very responsive to my pre arrival queries. The house is lovely. Comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. It’s ideally located for Eastbourne centre and is literally round the back of the train station. But don’t let this put you off. It was so quiet you wouldn’t know you were so close to the station/centre of town. Parking can be a bit of a pain. Permits are provided and easy to use but you might have to look for a parking space in the nearby streets - but this is the trade of for being so centrally located. We’d definitely stay again.

Jederzeit wieder und eine wunderschöne Zeit

Unser Aufenthalt war super. Das Wendy Haus ist gut gelegen. Bus und Bahn sind von hier fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben die meisten Ausflüge ohne Auto unternommen. London ist gut mit dem Zug zu erreichen. Unbedingt muss man mit dem Sightseeing Bus in Eastbourne eine Rundreise machen. Besonders haben es uns die Beachy Head angetan. Sehr schöne Natur! Der Strand ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Innenstadt. Hier gibt es ein riesen Einkaufscenter mit zahlreichen Geschäften. Im Haus selber, war alles vorhanden was wir gebraucht haben. Selberkochen war möglich. Handtücher und Bettwäsche waren vorhanden. Da man immer wieder etwas zur Garage von anderen Gästen gelesen hat: wir haben sogar mit unseren Honda Civic Tourer in die Garage gepasst. Es war Fingerspitzengefühl angesagt, aber es ging. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfect Holiday

It was a quiet, cosy, house for a couple. Very convenient for town centre, very little noise. Really enjoyed ourselves, will book again in the future
