“Habitación muy limpia y en zona tranquila. Por comentar algo malo no hay ascensor y no hay smart TV. Además se nos estropeó la tele y aunque por teléfono intentaron arreglarla no vino nadie a mirarla el fin de semana, Ojo con los cheli-in-out porque la entrada es a las16:00horas y la salida a las10:00”

“El check in fue un desastre. Aún no estaban listas las habitaciones y cuando nos dieron el ok, no estaban hechas y no eran las que habíamos reservado. El resto bien. Solo necesitaba dormir y ducharme una noche. El olor a humedad es injusto mencionarlo si de escocia se trata. Creo que estuvo bastante aceptable por el precio. Y con jarra eléctrica para café o té. ”

“The room was cozy and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly and there was a nice selection of snacks and breakfast items in our room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and the bar was good too. Our only complaint was that there was no WIFI for our entire stay which made it difficult for planning some activities due to the fact everything is booked online these days. ”

“Hotel in a good location with friendly staff. In need of some updating, but comfortable with good amenities (a great shower). Only criticism is there's only one key used for all the doors so you need to carry your valuables.”

“Very nice stay in Sue's B'n'B. We were allowed to place our luggage prior to check-in and get back later. Sue's hospitality is of very high standard. Everything is in order, clean and nicely maintained. Nice breakfast, we were treated like kings and queens. When Sue found out that we had to leave early for the airport after the last night, instead of the breakfast she prepared three bags of 'survival kit' with fruit and biscuits to bring with us. “Hemos pasado cuatro días muy cómodos y el anfitrión Shean encantador y muy amable. Como cuestión a mejorar el desayuno debería de ser más variado. “Really nice place and lovely hosts. Clean and quiet, away from the bustle. of the city but close enough to easily access Edinburgh as well as walking distance to the village of East Calder with restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was lovely and offered a nice variety. Try the Haggis, it's delicious. ”

“We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Ian gave us a tour if the castle along with a history. The rooms were cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The owners even gave us a ride to the tram when we were unable to find a taxi. Sue and Ian are a friendly helpful couple. ”

“The hotel is well located, all attractions.and historical buildings are very close. There were two things that can be improved 1. There was not cold water in twh bath 2. When you close the door of your room, you need to certify that it could.not be opened without the key. Probably doors are.not well configurated. Nothing was lost. In general, a very good hotel, definitely we would come back on our next visit. ”
