The perfect beach house with pretty close to everything we needed. It has plenty of kitchen utensils and lots of beach equipment including a good number of beach chairs. It is quite comfortable with plenty of places to sit and read. The host was very helpful. The entrance passes to local activities were a big plus. I hope to get to stay here again one day.

Family Beach Trip

We had an excellent time here. The house was perfect for the three generations of our family. Our grandchildren enjoyed the games and toys, and the youngest toddler had plenty of room to safely roam about the living room. We enjoyed the covered screen porch with the ocean breeze where we read and played board games, or just talked while relaxing in the rocking chairs. The close proximity of the beach was a real hit with everyone. A short walk to enjoy the waves and sand was delightful. Loved being able to shower off all the sand in the closed shower before going upstairs. The fully stocked kitchen was a pleasure to work in since we cooked every night, and we were thankful for the reasonably priced groceries from Food Lion just minutes away. We enjoyed the fire pit with s’mores, learned a lot at the Serpentarium, and spent a lot of time in the pools as well. Loved that the pools were warm! They were enjoyed daily by the adults and kids. It was really a wonderful vacation! Thank you!

Beach Fam Blast

Communication with host was great! House was in good location close to grocery store, restaurants, golf cart rental and ice creamery. House had everything we needed to cook with. Our first visit was great to Edisto.

Great trip

Enjoyed our short get away. Location perfect with ocean view. Home was so clean and open floor plan perfect. Loved the front porch and even had campfires with the Firepit. Can’t think of anything we’d have changed except staying longer. Thanks Heather for sharing your home.

Great place to stay especially with little kids!

This house was amazing! It had so many toys and activities for the little ones and big ones! It had an awesome screened in porch to enjoy the view of the ocean without the bugs. Outdoor shower was great to clean up after a day at the beach without tracking all the sand into the house! We enjoyed the fire pit and bbq. They had beach chairs for those that forgot to bring them and even a cart to haul it all across the street to the beach which only took a couple of minutes to walk there! Amazing location for everything. We were even able to go enjoy the pool with the passes they included when it was raining and not much fun at the beach! I will definitely be booking this house again when we come back to this area! Host responded quickly to all my messages and was very nice! It was my granddaughter’s 7th birthday and she keep saying it was her best birthday ever. Thank you again for a great vacation for my whole family!

Favorite Edisto spot

Great house - feet from the beach. Our absolute favorite spot in Edisto. Pool passes and Serpentarium passes included for our summer stay. Highly recommend; we’ll be back next year.

Clean, Spacious, and Quiet

This house had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. We appreciated the high chair and other baby items, the extra blankets, all the tools in the kitchen, beach gear, and the screened porches. The beach is a very short walk and not crowded. Love the little town and local businesses too!

Delightful Beach Vacation

The house was perfect, with toys to keep a toddler busy while the adults enjoyed their morning coffee to everything for the beach with access a few feet across the street. We pretty much spent the week enjoying the ocean breeze either on the front screened porch or from the swing under the house. The best outdoor shower ever too! This will definitely be our Edisto go to house!

Beach Ball

Our family had an amazing beach vacation staying at Beach Ball. The house had everything you could possibly need or want in a beach house. The location was perfect as we could easily walk to several restaurants and the view of the ocean from the amazing screened in porch was so relaxing. And last but not least the owner was very pleasant and easy to work with. I hope we can stay there again next year!

Best Vacation Ever!

"Best vacation ever!" Those were the words my sister used to describe her stay at The Beach Ball. My husband & I gifted a 7-day stay at The Beach Ball to my sister, brother-in-law, and their adult children's families (all in all 6 adults and 6 children ages 4-12). They had a blast! The house was clean, spacious, and close to so many activities - Botany Bay, King's Farm Market, Flowers Seafood market, Edisto Island Museum & Gift Shop, and Penn Center on nearby St. Helena Island where they learned so much about Gullah Geechee history & culture. The amenity pass at Wyndam Ocean Ridge provided hours of swimming (1 indoor/1 outdoor pool), miniature golf, etc. At the house, fun was had with hours of ping-pong, pool, tether ball, and indoor board games. Every morning my brother-in-law & two of his granddaughters fished from the beach across the street. They didn't catch anything, but that really wasn't the point. Their stay could not have been much better. Thank you, Heather, for providing my dear sister and her family with "the Best Vacation Ever".

A Relaxing Week

Great house. My one and only complaint or negative comment is that the washer and dryer downstairs is up on a 3 step ledge. I found it very unsafe especially with no handrail. Other than that it's a great house for families and you can't beat the views.
