Be cautious with this property.
After booking through Expedia, I was shocked to be contacted repeatedly via email and text by a third-party company called Truvi, demanding identity verification—including a photo ID and a selfie. On top of that, I was forced to pay a non-optional damage waiver fee—either $50 or $700—just to complete the process. I was even warned that the door code wouldn’t work unless I complied. None of this was disclosed on Expedia at the time of booking, and it still isn't. If I had known beforehand, I likely would not have booked. Even if I had, I wouldn’t feel this upset. It was an extremely unpleasant experience, and Expedia should be held accountable for not informing customers of these mandatory extra steps and charges. Anything less is misleading.
