This detached house in Canarian style is located in the heart of La Palma in a rural, very quiet environment on the outskirts of El Paso in the climatically favoured Ariane Valley. From here you can reach St Cruz and Los Lianos, the secret capital of La Palma, by car or bus. The beaches are also easy to reach by car. El Paso is an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling tours. The airport and St Cruz are located on the other side of the island, but are easily accessible via a tunnel that runs through the mountain range.
The romantic stone house was extensively restored to its original splendour a few years ago. The centrepiece is a large living room with a natural stone fireplace. On a slightly higher level of the otherwise single-storey house is a fully equipped kitchen (cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and plenty of crockery) which has its own exit to the garden with a breakfast area in the sun and two large bedrooms separated by a guest WC. The bedrooms each have an exit to a secluded sunbathing terrace. The large bathroom has a bathtub, shower and two washbasins. Another toilet is separate. From the bathroom there is access to a small courtyard adjacent to the sauna and another shower and toilet. This area is also completely secluded, and the house is equipped with Internet, TV, CD and radio as well as a hoover, iron and ironing board and a safe, and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in a small outbuilding that only belongs to this holiday home.
Around the house there are lovingly designed terraces and seating areas with garden furniture and parasols. There is always a place in the sun or shade, depending on your preference. The many different sized outdoor seating areas allow you to socialise, eat or play, but also find a quiet spot to read or work. A small pond rounds off the ambience. A natural stone staircase leads up to the house's own viewing platform. From here you can see the mountains, the sea on a clear day and the fantastic starry sky at night. There are fruit trees and a boules court on the extensive fenced plot (approx. 4,500 m2).

Powerful thermostat-controlled appliances are available, and the heating costs are lower than when using gas cylinders. The landlords charge the electricity consumption for the heaters for guests who have booked to date; for all new bookings from 2023, they will charge the total electricity consumption with immediate effect.
A bus stop, a grocery shop and a restaurant are within walking distance of the house (700 metres), but we recommend renting a car to enjoy the many sights and restaurants on the island. This house is the ideal starting point for hikes in the beautiful nature of La Palma.
