  • 'Cattail Cottage' is centrally located approx. 30 mins from Savannah, Pooler, and Statesboro (only 20 mins west of I-95). The cottage sits on an 8 acre estate which boasts a 1 acre stocked pond with dock. Enjoy catch and release fishing, a paddle boat ride, or just sitting back on the patio. PET FRIENDLY - Entire property is fenced. With its secluded and quiet atmosphere and cozy interior, this little cottage will make you feel miles away from the hustle and bustle while still being close!!! (Pets must be listed on your booking)

Wonderful place to relax and recharge

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It was clean and welcoming, ideal for our day trip to Savannah. The visit was enjoyable thanks to the very comfortable beds and welcoming treats.

We stayed at Cattail Cottage on our way from DC to Florida. Everything was wonderful - check in was easy, they were so nice and turned the lights on for us when we arrived late, the cottage was so cute and cozy, and our dog especially loved the outdoors. It was a short trip for us but we’d definitely recommend it to others!

Perfect Savannah stay

The owners were fantastic and the property was wonderful. Perfect place, quiet, yet close to all of the areas activities . Will be sure to visit and stay with Dayle again .

Totally great experience. The property is beautiful, the cottage is private at the back of the property, cozy and charming, coming and going was easy plus checking in and out was a breeze. Dale is a great host and it was very evident that a lot of thought and care was put in to every detail.

Nice quiet getaway

We loved the place. We did not have enough time to hang out and enjoy the pond and peacefulness, as we were too busy trying to fit in some things downtown Savannah. But the place was very nice, the host was very nice, and they seem to think of everything.

What a beautiful place to stay! Everything was perfect. Super clean, the most beautiful interior design, comfy beds and sheets, very welcoming! We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area. My son went fishing and I adored the chickens and the beautiful landscaping. 5

Beautifully decorated cottage

When you walk into this cottage the beauty of its interior overwhelms you! It is so lovely and comfortable! Still a work in progress, with a kitchenette instead of a full kitchen at this point, but who wants to cook on vacation, anyway? Sit down and relax, or take the dogs out to the spacious grassy property and play ball. Really nice stay.

Just what we were looking for

Traveling to Savannah from Atlanta. Had our 2 dogs. Great space for them to enjoy. Property looked just like the photos. Clean and beds were super comfortable. Our granddaughter wanted to stay another night!!! Lots of extras all ready for any needs. Would highly recommend.

So nice and perfect for us

When we arrived, after driving through torrential rain, the lights were on and the cottage was so beautiful! We could not have been more pleased Our dog was able to go our for a little exercise on the beautiful property. I would highly recommend staying here. I give it a10

Clean, cozy cottage

Property was great for our dogs to run around and have fun. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The owner was very friendly and quick to communicate. She left snacks for us which was so helpful to give the kids after long car ride. Would recommend to others.

Stars, quiet, and convenient to Savannah

Took a quick weekend with our teenage son. Dayle was proactive and responsive. Property was exactly as advertised. Guest house sits in the back of his large fenced property. It’s nicely decorated and very comfortable. If you’re looking for something a little off the beaten path, but still within 30 minutes of Savannah we would highly recommend.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

AMAZING!!! Everything was incredible. The check in process, communication, location (close enough to sights, but far away from the hustle). The property is amazing. The home is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything and anything one could need. My daughter had an amazing time riding the 4-wheeler, and I was able to relax by the pond by the sound of the waterfall. The host was amazing and very accommodating. We had an amazing time and hope to return one day soon. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING DAYLE, you were great!

Nestled just a short 30-minute drive from Savannah, Georgia, Cattail Cottage offers a tranquil escape with its layout and serene surroundings. During our recent weekend getaway, we found this cozy retreat to be a perfect haven, boasting cleanliness, peace, and all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. Upon arrival, the condition of the cottage was immediately noticeable, reflecting the care and attention to detail put into maintaining this welcoming space. Our decision to bring both of our dogs, including an elderly companion, turned out to be a great choice as they enjoyed the spacious area surrounding the cottage. The well-equipped cottage and comfortable sleeping quarters ensured that our needs were met, allowing us to unwind and enjoy an stress-free stay. Note: there is no kitchen but does have a small fridge and microwave. The pet-friendly environment made our experience even more enjoyable.
