Peaceful and enjoyable weekend

Great property with wonderful amenities! We really enjoyed our stay - didn’t use the hot tub since it was so hot outside, but loved playing ping pong and bumper pool. The only issue we had is that it took more than 12 hours to get the temperature in the cabin to a comfortable level, but once it was comfortable, it stayed that way.

We really enjoyed this cabin. The size was actually more than we needed having a separate place for the kids to hangout was awesome. Hot tub was excellent with a great view. The community amenities were a nice touch as well. Over all very pleased with our stay

Birthday Getaway

I had the pleasure of saying at this beautiful listing for my birthday and it was absolutely PERFECT for an intimate group of people. The house is completely stocked with all that you may need and even including extra linens and towels. The gaming room and hot tub were our fan favorites. Will definitely look to book here again for the next trip to Ellijay.

Great North Georgia Cabin for the Whole Family!

Like Dr. Who's Tardis, it is bigger on the inside! The whole family (including our 2 pups) had a great time in Ellijay with this cabin as our hub. Bring your hiking boots to explore the national forest which is just a couple hundred feet from the back porch. We will look to book this cabin again next time!

Pure relaxation and peace

Clean, beautiful, quite plenty of entertainment, spacious comfortable beds. As soon as we walked in we knew it was going to be a great weekend from the entrance down to the fire pit outside. Hot tub was a bonus to top it off. Loved, loved everything. Definitely worth going back since we didn’t get to use the fire pit due to the rain.

Loved the cabin and the surroundings. Made us feel like we were in a treehouse. Had some issues with cleanliness when we arrived, nothing major. Found a few things that needed attention.

4th of July in the mountains

We drove from lower Alabama and were looking to have a stay with lower humidity. Ellijay followed through. Fun few days going to wineries and apple/peach farms. Road up to Blueridge and road the train and learned the history of the town. Got a little shopping in as well. Cute shops and a big variety. Overall a fun trip and we really liked our Treehouse Lodge.

It's an ok cabin

It's located in a very nice gated community. Hot water lacks, dishwasher issues, and could not get the fireplace to work. I have left a review so I would hope that the landowner will fix these issues before someone else rents

Didn't get to stay

Had a family situation and couldn't go and wasn't refunded a dime even though I called over a week before arriving to cancel....was told "Nothing we can do"....last time I'll ever book through VRBO or VASCA

On the positive side, the cabin was well laid out and ideal for large parties. Good location to Ellijay. Quiet. But, it was not clean. At the per night cost, there should not be cobwebs and spiders and rodent feces! I did call in and report this cleanliness issue but no one showed up to address. Will not stay here again. Do not recommend.

Great Getaway

We had a great stay at the Little Leeway cabin! A few days of snow at Christmas was exactly what we needed. The location was close enough to the town but far enough to enjoy the cabin’s seclusion. We took our 2 pups, but one didn’t like the narrow stairs. This wasn’t a big deal because there is a master on the main. The hot tub, ping pong, books, and games gave us a nice break from technology. The kitchen was stocked with most of the tools you may need on a short trip, but some of the wares were kinda worn. One small issue we encountered is that the private road up to the home did become icy on our last day. There are parts of the road that are steep and scary for those who don't deal with ice and snow often. We were careful and made it down the mountain safely, but we did see cars that had not been so lucky and had run off the road. Just something to be aware of in the mountains. Overall, an amazing getaway and I would visit again.

Not kid friendly

I don't think this home claimed to be kid friendly, but for the sake of anyone with small kids considering this home I wanted to share some feedback. The pictures do not indicate the safety concerns of the stairs to the lower level or upper level. The stairs do not have to code railings and a small child could easily slip between the railings. The risers are completely open and a small child could also slip beneath the risers as well. There are no child gates in the home to try and block entrance to stairs. The screened porch railings are also wide enough that if the screen were to give way a small child could also slip through. The walk down to the fire pit is treacherous and steep and the area of the fire pit is not safe or conducive to enjoying the time down there with small children. Overall, I would not recommend this home to anyone with babies or toddlers, nor would I recommend for older adults. The main floor is fairly small so to enjoy any other areas of the home you must take the stairs. The home is older and cozy and would be great for a couple or just adults or a family with older children that would be aware enough to maintain safety on the stairs/walk down to the firepit. The only other major issue we had was the hot water. There were 4 adults and we were hard pressed to get hot water for 4 showers. The water has to run and run to ever even think of warming up. A small issue for anyone staying a longer period of time would be that you have to take your trash to a dumpster at the bottom of the mountain, that is not easy to get your trash into.

Everything was very clean, the hot tub was spotless. Very spacious with lots of games to play. The ping pong table was a lot of fun! The only feedback I have is that many of the teflon pans desperately need replacing. Overall, it was a great getaway.

Anniversary getaway

My husband and I spent our 10 year anniversary at A Little Leeway and we enjoyed every minute of this charming cabin. Pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin. 15 minutes to downtown Ellijay and about 20 minutes to Blue Ridge.
