  • Summary:

    The Lobsterman's Farmhouse and Cottage are on same property! Comfortably accommodating 16 guests, the location is perfect for relaxing after exploring Acadia National Park and visiting Bar Harbor! Located in the seaside town of Lamoine, Maine, the Lobsterman's Farmhouse & Cottage is a 2-minute walk to Lamoine Beach with views of the mountains of Acadia National Park! 25 minutes to Bar Harbor! Furry guests welcome!



    The Space:

    Lobsterman's Farmhouse and Cottage sleep 16 guests (in 2026, 14 in 2025)! We have rented the homes separately and are now offering together for larger groups! Both homes are on the same property across the lane from each other. Farmhouse sleeps 12 and the Cottage sleeps 4. Both places are fully equipped, Farmhouse has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and the Cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. Perfect for your extended family vacations!

Family Getaway in Maine

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, large cabin retreat. It was a short walk from the water and communication with our host was perfect.

The farmhouse and cottage were perfect for our family reunion. The neighborhood was so peaceful. It was close to Acadia and perfect for our time away. The house is beautifully built with salvaged materials. I am looking forward to returning someday!!! We had a wonderful time. Our host was very responsive and answered all my questions quickly. We had a wonderful experience.

A wonderful place to stay for a large group. A minutes walk to the beach for the perfect summer getaway with my friends. The host was great as well, from offering us a great deal on lobsters to answering questions whenever we had any. Would happily stay here again!

This was a trip for our entire family, 6 adults and 5 small children. The farmhouse and cottage were perfect. The kids loved being able to run across the yard to visit and play. The front and back yards were wonderful. The big front porch and smaller cottage front porch were used daily. The location was excellent; we walked the 2 minutes to the beach daily. We enjoyed it immensely.

This house was fantastic for our family of 13. It was cozy, warm and inviting. Everyone had what they needed and the cottage was the perfect size for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). We enjoyed the nostalgia of the home and the deer walking through the grass in the morning. We loved the end of the road.......we walked to the beach and had fun even with the cold water! Elizabeth, the host, was very responsive to any questions we had via text/messaging. Perfect stay but wish it was longer! Will definitely keep this home in mind for the future! Thank you so much!

Farmhouse and Cottage was perfect for our large group. We were there to run the MDI (amazing race). Host was great with communications. Both places were well stocked with kitchen items.

Our stay at the Acadia Lobsterman's Farmhouse and Cottage was wonderful! My wife and I booked this property online as the perfect place to bring together our two children, their spouses, and all nine of our grandchildren to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.The biggest challenge was finding accommodations large enough for everyone, especially since our daughter's family includes seven children, with an eighth on the way. We needed a place where everyone could sleep comfortably and have adequate bathroom facilities, and this property exceeded our expectations.The Farmhouse and Cottage provided plenty of space for our entire family to gather, relax, and enjoy being together while still allowing everyone the comfort and privacy they needed. It was an ideal setting for creating special memories and celebrating such an important milestone. We are very grateful for the opportunity to spend this precious time together in such a welcoming and well-equipped property.

My family rented the Farmhouse & Cottage to celebrate my Dad’s 60th birthday near his favorite place in the world (Acadia), and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Held all of us with no issue, and the kitchen was great for prepping all our meals. Both the farmhouse and cottage were super cozy, and the location is absolutely serene, with access to water within walking distance, down the street. Elizabeth was also an awesome host - super communicative and accommodating (we had 3 dogs and kiddos with us). Would absolutely stay again!
