  • Our latest listing near Moonlight Beach in the heart of Encinitas! This is an amazing house in an amazing location! Welcome to Indah Jungalow, a blend of Indonesian and Jungalow, featuring 3 bedrooms (1 of which is a loft) + 3 baths. Bring the friends and/or family and come enjoy quintessential Encinitas, CA!

    This stylish, bright 3 Bedroom (one of which is a Loft bedroom), 3 bathroom house comes fully equipped with everything you'll need for an amazing stay. We created this home to be the perfect location to gather with a group of friends, family, extended family, and/or as a couple for an awesome getaway. Pulling inspiration for furniture and finishing's from places we love to travel, such as Bali and other ocean and jungle escapes.

    Indah is an attached twin home and does share some walls with the twin home/townhome next door. The entire home is private and for your use only, and the front patio/yard and front entrance are completely private.

    The extra large Living Room is comfortably furnished with an Italian leather sofa sectional, plush lagoon velvet love seat, and TV perfect space for enjoying with friends and/or fam! This Large Living Room is an open floor plan encompassing the entryway, Living Room, Kitchen, and Queen Day Bed for lounging or for an extra guest or two.

    There's a fully appointed Kitchen with everything you'll need to cook a great meal using the large, Viking oven and range top. Kitchen amenities include: Viking oven, 4-burner gas range, microwave, built in refrigerator, dishwasher, dining table, and large sink basin. The Queen Day bed is also located in the space between the kitchen and laundry room. It is a cozy spot to hang out, take a nap, lounge, read a book or for the extra guest or two. There is a laundry room off the kitchen with a washer and dryer. Laundry detergent is provided by the host. For the coffee lovers, there's an espresso machine and a French press and we provide organic coffee for both.

    The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and is located between the entryway and the Living Room with a bathroom including shower in between. You don't have to go through the bedroom to access this bathroom and it is the main downstairs living area bathroom.

    The Master Bedroom is upstairs and is quite spacious featuring a King bed with an En-Suite Master Bathroom and walk-in closet.

    The 3rd Bedroom is actually a Loft Bedroom. The Loft Bedroom is located just up the stairs from the downstairs living space and is open and airy with curtains to draw for privacy. The Loft bedroom features a Queen Bed, large closet, and a hall bathroom, with bathtub and shower just across the hall.

    The al fresco front porch dining is the perfect perch to enjoy morning Coffee, Dinner, Golden Hour, BBQing, and do some SoCal people watching!

    There's also an outdoor shower with hot water so you can rinse off after a long day at the beach.

    The space comfortably accommodates 6 people and can accommodate up to 8 people by utilizing the day bed in the living room/kitchen area. Additional $40/night per person charge for more than 6 adults.

    Additional amenities included: One off-street parking space, smart TV with access to Netflix & other viewing apps, High speed internet/Wi-Fi, Washer & Dryer.

    Note: Guests do not have access to the garage at the back of the property near the alley and the 2nd parking spot in front of the garage. That space is utilized by Scott & his dog Marley. Our guests are allowed to use the back gate to enter/exit the property and take out the trash to the alley. This is a shared gate/entrance to the back of the property.

    Guests have full access to the entire property except for the garage at the back of the property that faces the alley.

    Lockbox entry and self check-in any time after 3 PM. Interaction with host via Airbnb message, or phone. Hosts live nearby as well.

    This prime location in downtown Encinitas is just a block and a half from the beach access stairs at D Street and 2 blocks from Moonlight Beach. Walking the other direction you're just 2 blocks from great restaurants, shops, and coffee on Coast Highway. It's the perfect spot to stay and soak in the friendly, local Encinitas vibe.

    Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. Walk to beach, shops, restaurants, coffee just steps out your front door! The Train Station is just a few blocks away and other grocery stores and sites just a short Uber ride or drive away!

    Pet Policy :
    *Pet Policy – Dogs are welcome at the property. We charge a pet fee of $100 per stay for 1 dog & $150 for 2 dogs, and ask that they have had a recent flee treatment (within 3 weeks of your arrival date). We also ask that you do not allow them on any of the furniture or beds and that you pick up all pet waste from the property and dispose of it in the trash. These rules also apply to “service animals”. Please indicate that you will be traveling with your dog when you send your reservation request and Airbnb will include the $100 fee with your booking. We will have to send a separate payment request of $50 for the second dog after your booking is confirmed.
    *Cats are not allowed at the property. If you are traveling with a cat or some other pet please contact us to discuss before booking.

    Beach Gear :
    We have provided beach chairs and some beach toys and gear for you to use while staying at the property. They are located just outside the back door on the south side of the property. Please put them back in this location before checking out of the property. We do our best to keep these items stocked at the property but unfortunately they tend to disappear over time and we are not always able to check if they are there after each guest. If you notice anything missing please let us know so we can get new ones for the property.

    *Scott occupies the garage part-time with his dog Marley. Marley is sweet once you meet him, but he does bark when you walk by. We have found that if you just say "Hi, Marley" he recognizes that you are friendly and stops barking. He is a sweet Welsh Corgi.

    *This is an upbeat location close to bars and restaurants, neighbors with kids and dogs, and also close to the train station. Perhaps not the most ideal location for the light sleeper, as you will notice some noise at night.

    *Our cleaners clean per Covid-19 cleaning standards and guidelines.

    *We have a strict Cancellation policy. Please consider 3rd Party Travel Insurance to safeguard your travels if there is a chance for your need to alter or cancel your travels.

    House Rules:

    *Strict Noise Limitations, especially after 10pm. This is not a party Pad.
    *The property is not to be used for parties or special events without prior consent from host.

Fantastic girls trip

The house comfortably slept all 6 ladies who came on this trip. It was ideal to have 3 bathrooms/showers! The location is perfect, and its a short walk to either the beach or restaurant/coffee/bars/shopping. Very clean and comfortable, and made for an amazing girls trip!

Beauty by the Beach

This is a very cozy home that is close to the beach and even closer to downtown restaurants and shopping. It had everything my family wanted. Highly recommended.

Perfect location!

What a hidden gem! This property is very unassuming from the outside but you will gasp as soon as you walk in! Nicole and Jason were gracious hosts, very communicative and kind. The home was clean and well stocked, beds were comfortable and the living space was cozy. We loved cooking on the Viking range, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools, spices, soap, sponges, etc. I also really appreciated that they had the house stocked with primarily clean, organic supplies and ingredients. Beds were comfortable and the house had plenty of towels, beach towels, extra blankets, pillows, etc. They have you covered! We had our 1.5 year old with us and they had her covered too with a highchair, pack and play, beach toys, baby toys/books, etc. Encinitas is personally one of my favorite designations in San Diego and the location of this house really cannot be beat. Very walkable. You're just around the corner from Moonlight Beach, and tons of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and more. Nicole and Jason gave very thoughtful recommendations on what to do/where to eat, it was very appreciated. If you have not been to Encinitas before there is a train that passes through, so bring your white noise machines! Thank you for hosting us, we will definitely be back!
