“En si el hotel es magnifico. Un autentico castillo antiguo con toda la decoración de su epoca. Esta en medio de un bosque y al lado de un lago lo que lo hace unico y precioso. Sin embargo, la distancia y ubicación en mi opinión no son ideales si quieres visitar varios lugares en inverness ya que tienes por fuerza que llamar taxi si no tienes coche. “I booked 2 rooms, both of which were excellent, very clean and beautifully furnished, recently fitted bathrooms with excellent facilities. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, they made us feel very comfortable in the beautiful location. We really enjoyed our pre dinner drinks by the open fire in the guests lounge and learning about the history as we explored the building. Delicious food, we met the chef who checked our exact needs. “On smaller loch ard, near Loch Lomond, this hotel is off the beaten path. It’s beautiful and peaceful with amazing views of the water from every window. The hosts are so welcoming and we wish we would have planned to stay longer. They also saved us a lot of driving time by letting is know of a road closure that wasn’t on google maps. The food was good also but I can’t say enough about the hospitality.”
