“The hosts were great with communication. The check in instructions were easy to follow. A "user guide" would be a good addition to explain electric fire, heat, etc. And, toconfirm that i was in the right lodge and hadnt accidentally broken into someone else's bit!”

“Great place to spend a weekend, the lodges are fab! My only concern would be that the bigger lodges are great for bigger groups but there are only 2 bedrooms - so a couple of people had to sleep on a sofa-bed, which isn’t as comfortable as the beds! Everything else was perfect - lots of space, excellent kitchen facilities and the hot tub was great!”

“When we arrived and went to reception to check it the lady was very welcoming and professional and friendly she explained about the lodge and what was available and gave us the keys to our lodge when to the lodge it was absolutely stunning very clean fresh and perfect the hot tib was maintained each morning and all staff were availbale if we needed anything this place is the best lodge we have stayed in 100% recommended ”

“We stayed in The Barn for a couple of nights, a wonderful house , very comfortable, plenty of space. It was a little cold, and did take a while to heat up after we turned the heat on. One thing to note, there are no instructions on how to use the beautiful Falcon stove. Maybe a simple sign in the kitchen , with the basic instructions please, for those like us who have no experience with this type of stove.”

“We stayed here for two nights and felt cosy even in the storm which started the night we checked in. I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. BUT I have to say that never we felt cold as heater quickly warmed up both room and bathroom, and it stayed so. We absolutely loved interior of our little room. Location is very convenient, too - just off the not overly busy A road and...
