Kitchen was well equipped, clean and functional. Pool and related amenities were outstanding!!! Theater is very nice and we enjoyed it as well. All around a most enjoyable stay. Randi Lyons was very kind in the process and accessible if needed.One small note: utility knives in kitchen could use sharpening.

A place that truly over delivers! We had an adult sleepover with several couples of hard-working professionals and parents. This piece of paradise is exactly what we all needed. Even with the rain, we were able to enjoy everything this true resort has to offer. The house, the space, the view, the amenities, the design, the cleanliness, the communication—all spectacular. Everyone was wowed and had a blast. Perfect way to celebrate my birthday :) Thank you!

A great location for entire family. Kids had their own water park experience. Tennis courts, basketball, putting green and the tv with Xbox games were a big hit. Loved the view and fresh air of open kitchen. Close proximity to walking trails, shopping and restaurants. 30 minutes from the ocean and close to the safari park zoo. Highly recommend if you want a fun vacation spot without ever having to leave. The home and space is both beautiful and functional.

Perfect vacation house

We took our children, spouses and grandchildren to stay at this amazing house for a week. It was perfect for all ages from 4 to 68! The pirate ship pool was the biggest hit, but we enjoyed the tennis/pickleball courts, exercise room, putting green, movie theater and beautiful view. Randi, the property manager was incredibly helpful and always available to answer any questions. We had a wonderful week and made lots of great memories!!

Great team retreat getaway

The house, amenities and location were all amazing. Just expect to get noise complaints at 5 pm and 8 pm from neighbors about "loud voices" on the basketball court/ any outdoor activity. Was a bit extreme to threaten to kick us out early over loud voices when clearly the neighbors just don't like any outdoor noise at any hour.

Amazing amenities at your personal resort !!!

The photos don't capture how amazing the Pirate House is. We were there for 4 days and did not leave. Our group (ages 8-74) used everything - and spent most of our time at the pool. The movie theater was also a hit - especially with the young ones. We just loved our time and highly recommend this incredible home.

Amazing!

We rented the house to celebrate my 50th birthday with our closest friends and it was truly amazing! It is even better than the pictures. The view was breathtaking! We got up each morning and had our coffee on the outside patio and just enjoyed the view. We spent our days in the pool - all of us enjoying the waterslide and rope swing. The court was a hit with the teens playing tennis and pickleball. And Bryan was a great host! He provided us with referrals for a private chef, who was amazing. Our entire group LOVED the beds because they were so comfortable. We had a marvelous time and hope to come back again!!

Fantastic Family Vacation

This was a wonderful home for our large (18) family group, ranging from grandparents down to 2 month old. The pool is amazing, although you have to be careful with the slide (it was fast/fun but not for younger kids). Pickleball, ping pong, table shuffleboard, basketball, and the pool, pool, pool. We had an amazing week.

Great spot for a large group

We had 10 guys in town for a golf weekend. There were plenty of beds for the entire crew. I would say that the bunk beds are really meant for kids. Given the proximity to Legoland, this is probably by design. There was also a game room and plenty of children's books and games. The kitchen was fantastic. Well appointed with everything we would want / need -- right down to spices. The coffee machine was amazing. So is the theater room. We watched a ton of NCAA March Madness. While there were TVs strategically placed throughout the house, we ended up in that theater room most nights. And, the ping pong table and shuffleboard saw some action as well. The property is large with a tremendous view down the valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Place!!

There was 16 of us and we all had our own space. It was a perfect little getaway with the perfect property to stay at. Really no reason to leave as you have everything you need at the house. I would recommend to anyone that has a large group to stay at the house. It was absolutely perfect.

Pirate pool!

The house is as described and wonderful for our family of 6 adults and 4 kiddos under age 8. The pool was a huge hit. Plenty of room for everyone. Only the little ones used the tvs. The tvs did not work at first. Quick response from Bryan and Randi with some reprogramming solved the issue. Well stocked kitchen for our group. Lots of spices left over from previous guests as well as liqueur. I suggest you check in first before you buy items not needed. We are an active family and loved this house/pool/pickle ball/weight room. Just beware that those with mobility issues may have difficulty as there are long stairs from the pool to the house (little ones having to go potty!!!) We didn’t really mind.

Amazing property

What a great house! Bryan was easy to communicate with and the VIP Host Randi was also readily available during our stay for any questions. The property was very thoughtfully designed and extremely well kept. It really has everything!! The pirate ship pool was so much fun! The pool slide wasn’t quite toddler friendly haha, but boy did the older kid/adults enjoy it!! Thank you for a wonderful wknd.

Incredible property and experience!

This property was incredible! More beautiful and surreal than in the photos and shocking to believe they had guests check out the same day we checked in because the main house, guest house and entire compound was spotless. It was a big group of us in town for a long weekend and had so much to keep us entertained at the house that we only left it for 1 evening. In addition to the beautiful property, Bryan (host) was incredibly kind and responsive long before our stay as well as during the stay. The instructions shared regarding how to access the property, how to use things around the property etc we're crystal clear as well. Amazing experience, thanks Bryan and team!

Fabulous Family Vacation

Our family is 17 of us from small to big from 3 generations. Everyone enjoyed their time from morning until night. The swimming pool got highest usage; especially the jump from platform with rope swing into the water. The young kids enjoyed the sand pile and toys. The palapa over the swimming pool bar and cooking area was fabulous. Automatic coffee maker was cool as well. You will enjoy your stay here and get ready for lots of stairs on the hillside. Just fun!

“Wow” - met the needs/desires/expectations of all 17!

This was the perfect multi-generational, private resort that suited the needs of our party from ages 1 to 72. Bryan and his team were responsive and helpful from pre-booking thru visit and past departure. When they say fully stocked/serviced kitchen, they mean it! Including coffee (in the wall); two pantries full of spices, place settings for 12 and all cooking/serving/storage needed. I’m used to having to bring my own of many of those items. It was a pleasant surprise. We had one minor issue and the concierge was there to fix it within half a day, and responded to any inquiries we had during the week. As with other reviewers, some in our party chose to remain onsite all week (7 nights), since there were so many things to do (including a great selection of kids books!). Having access to streaming services from the owner was great too. You can’t go wrong renting this place.

Excellent for large groups

This place was wonderful. So many activities on the property so it has something for everyone. Many different areas for socializing around the house and grounds. It was quite amazing to eat food straight off the grill while still in the pool! And the pool is amazing. Very spacious pool and of course a super fun pirate ship with slide and swinging rope! Good views of the mountains/hills, especially from the infinity hot tub. There's too many great things in this house to comment on. You will definitely not regret renting this place if you're looking for a secluded vacation home with all the amenities.

Private Paradise

WOW. I was told pictures do not adequately describe this wonderful house. It was everything I hoped for and more as we had a wonderful family gathering for my wife's birthday. I planned for the possibility of anyone in our group of 14 going exploring offsite. However, once everyone arrived at this resort-like house they all decided to stay put and enjoy what was offered in this slice of paradise. Family members played indoor games, basketball, and tennis and used the gym. I highly recommend paying the extra to heat the pool, depending on the time of the year. The kids and adults had so much fun in the pirate ship pool. It was an experience unlike any other, especially for the teenagers in our group. Bryan was great to deal with, providing prompt responses and contacts for private chefs. I cannot say enough great things about Chef Daniela who provided dinner and brunch. She had great ideas, and her food was so delicious. My family and I can't wait to visit again.
