“Our daughters loved the bunk beds! We could walk to the restaurants, brewery, cute shops and park in downtown Sparta. It was also close to the Jubilee which was a fun old time dance hall. So lovely!”

“Host and property were perfect. We wanted to be able to walk to town and it was an easy walk for food and Crouse Park and centrally located to all we wanted to do. Check out process also was a breeze. Would stay again as we are looking for a house to retire in Sparta”

“Such a wonderful Moutain property - everything you want in a Moutain experience!”

“The home is absolutely stunning! Very spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfortable, too. There were so many little touches that made this home the perfect we can get away for a bride to be and her bride tribe to relax and unwind.Unfortunately, the weather was too cold and too windy for us to enjoy the fire pit area, but the theater room and gathering spaces were plenty large enough for our group of seven ladies.”

“The Mountain Retreat is great! Our family of 12 had plenty of space between the main house and studio apartment. The property is very clean, with lots of extras, like flavored coffees and creamers. We requested that the spa be heated to 98-100 degrees, and it was perfect, complete with spa towels. It has a game/theater room with a large screen for watching movies and sports. The host, Kasia, is great, quickly addressing all questions. The property is also pet-friendly. I highly recommend it!”

“Nice and clean”

“Beautiful area, clean, and spacious. A”

“My family and I love staying on the Old Beau property. Beautiful views and convenient to golf course and club house by golf cart. This home is comfortable and clean.”

“This property was exactly what we expected. The house was very cozy and comfortable. Eclectic decor made for a home feeling. Appliances were fairly modern and worked excellent.Outside space was wonderful. Large yard and the flowing stream was very relaxing. And the owners were wonderful! We needed to extend our stay and they worked with us. We will return!”

“amazing”

“Beautiful place and perfect for a getaway in Galax! It had everything I needed for my short stay.”

“I think the property was great close enough to town but far enough out to feel secluded in your own home away from home. The only problem we had was there were some things that could’ve been a little cleaner in the home. The loft had some dead bugs unfortunately but most everything else was quite clean.”

“Beautiful property, very clean. We had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.”

“Had a wonderful stay. Was pleasantly surprised to find the property was very private with no houses or other people around. The pictures of the property don't quite do this spot justice. Loved that you could also hear the nearby creek as well. I'll be back for sure.”
