“Check in was seamless. The kitchen was well outfitted, and there were so many toys, games and activities for the kids. The pool and playground were awesome.”

The table in the main living area is a little too big to be able to easily access the sectional seating area.Fan on back porch appears to have a burned up motor. Would have been nice if it worked, especially to sit on the porch in evening.This was our second stay at this location.”

“We had a great week with our family here. Communication was excellent -- we had a few minor issues that were immediately and fully resolved. Bedrooms were great -- the extra bunk house was perfect for our teenagers! The dock has been redone and is now one level but still with some shade. The decks off the back of the house are full sun, so consider bringing shade structure if you want to use the deck in the summer. Great shade in the yard. Well stocked kitchen. It was nice to have two fridges...

“We stayed here for our anniversary and fell in love with it. It was nice and clean, no complaints. We love fishing and this was the perfect spot. We cooked the whole stay and we was graced with trash bags, paper towels and seasoning that was already there. I would most definitely recommend this sot and will be returning soon.”

“This is a wonderful property. Our family rents a beach or lake house every summer, and this one was easily my fave! Very well-stocked, lots of thoughtful details, and beautifully decorated. The kids had a blast with the lily pad, the inflatable water slide, and all the activities in the air-conditioned garage. The adults loved the hot tub and sitting on the porch in the evenings. The family members who stayed in the guest house were very comfortable but noted there really wasn’t a place to hang...

“My stay was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy life. I had stressful family business in Dallas (not far away) that had to be done but all my burdens seemed to melt away when I returned to Mallard's Mist. It's easy to unwind when you pull in the drive and there is a beautiful heard of deer. ”

“Perfect location for our family get together. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 8 kids. The bunkroom gave the kids a place away from the adults for games and hanging out. The location on the cove was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding without a lot of boat traffic. ”
