As we stayed during Christmas Tom put a tree up for us and also put hooks on the fireplace so we could hang stockings :)The topper for us is when we found a baby gate in the closet!! I might add a French press or drip coffee machine but otherwise it is the best stocked VRBO I have stayed in! The balcony is spacious and a great place to hang out. The location is convenient for Courtney, Comox and outdoor activities. Check in was a breeze. ”

The other notable complaint is the lack of screens on the sliding doors, which makes them impossible to keep open due to insects, especially after dark. This is particularly troublesome in the "media room", because it has no AC and gets stuffy with multiple people present.”

"Amazing location, inmediate and private access to the lake with gorgeous views. The room was nice, however the carpet could use to be cleaned as you can tell it hasn't been washed for a while. Thefood at the restaurant was really good, however they have very few options to chose from. They closed it one day due to lack of staff and it's usually just open for dinner after 5pm. They should have it available from early morning since it's the only place to have something decent to eat besides the coffee store next to the hotel where they only have sandwiches. Staff in general are super nice. The deck to the lake could also use some renovations. "
