Wedding Weekend

This place was great and was perfect for our weekend visit. Great location in a quite neighborhood. Cottage was very clean and well stocked. Cate was very responsive and this property will be on our 'favorites' list for the Asheville area!

5-Star Experience

The property was lovely, exactly what we were looking for! So, so clean! Everything looked brand new. Located close to some wonderful restaurants! Also right down the road from Sierra Nevada if you are looking for a great brewery/restaurant in a gorgeous setting. Hosts were extremely accommodating and were very quick to respond to any inquires.My husband and I would recommend to anyone looking for a solo stay or a getaway for two!Our pup loved the space as well, along with the little treats that were left for him. We cannot wait to visit again!Thank you Cate and Mike

Quick Trip

We were up in the area for a couple days and this place was a very convienent stay. The appartment is a little small but works well for one or two people. Great hiking was only about 20 minutes away and good food was only about 10, so pretty good spot to spend a few days

Cozy loft cabin in a friendly city

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our extended weekend getaway in Asheville. The loft cabin is small and cozy. Perfect for simple meals and movie nights. And there are plenty of delicious restaurants around. Only inconvenience is the single A/C unit so keep the bedroom door open if you want cool air when you sleep.

Great Place, as Expected

This listing was very accurate, the only change from the photos we noticed was the island has been replaced by a small table with chairs... which actually made things easier for us. Place was clean, washer/dryer worked, and parking/getting in were straightforward. There is a sign on the door that cleaners will be there right at checkout, and they meant it. We were out of the place but not out of the parking spot right at checkout, and the cleaners were waiting to pull in! We booked one night very last minute to gap fill our wedding weekend after a major cleanliness issue at our previously planned rental through a different site, so finding a really clean place was such a relief. Location is as described - there is no mountain view etc. because it is very much in a neighborhood. That said, the place is raised off the ground and really surrounded by tree canopy. This lends a feeling of being in the woods, even in the neighborhood setting. Overall, this place is one of the best we have found in the Asheville area the last two years (we generally visit at least a couple times a year) based on price, cleanliness, washer/dryer, and match to description.

Relaxing Stay

Thoughtfully appointed garage apartment. Very convenient to nearby shopping and restaurants in Flat Rock, Saluda, and Hendersonville (and of course Asheville). Friendly neighborhood and perfect spot for a short stay. There is a different table than island pictured, but I liked it better- more suitable for laptop and working from home. Thanks for being so welcoming to four-legged babies! This couple are such gracious hosts!!

Perfect Night in Asheville

My husband and I stayed here for one night during our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect! The home was incredibly cozy, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The location was ideal, being so close to Asheville – we could easily explore the city and then return to our peaceful retreat. We loved the attention to detail in the décor and the comfortable furnishings. The bed was especially comfortable, which was a big plus after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to enjoy a lovely homemade breakfast. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a charming and convenient place to stay near Asheville. It made our honeymoon even more special!

Great cozy cottage!

This was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 small dogs. The neighborhood was great for walking, it was convenient for both of us to get to work in Brevard & Asheville and the communication with Cate (&Mike) was excellent. Bed was very comfortable as was the couch. We didn't cook, but the kitchen seemed like it had everything you would need. Our favorite thing was the sweet welcome note & treats for the dogs. We would definitely stay here again!
