En la página se decía que se cobraría un impuesto de 2 euros por persona y por día y al momento de llegar se me cobro 3 euros, el encargado de la recepción eso si es muy amable. Por otro lado el wifi no llegaba en la habitación que me encontraba y las toallas no se cambiaban a diario. Pero en general por el precio esta muy bien ya que tiene baño privado y televisor. Además la ubicación esta bien.

Hotel feo y alejado de todo.
No estuve en El Genzianella cuando llegamos estaba todo patas arriba, por lo que nos llevaron a otro al lado. Era normalito y estaba bastante alejado

Very noisy, not better than a hostel
Not better than a hostel. The staff was very helpful, Pablo, the manager, is a very nice and gentle man, however, the conditions of the hotel were not good, super noisy that we couldnt sleep any night, so they changed us to other hotel downstairs with smaller rooms. The room size was fine with private bathroom but without maintenance.

En el hotel Genzianella, nos mandaron al Ghirladaio, muy limpio, habitaciones amplias y actualizadas.

Bien.
El hotel muy bien, el personal muy amable. El desayuno algo deficiente, aclarar que es desayuno continental y no buffet. No es un hotel, es un bed & breakfast, si lo quieres para conocer florencia lo recomiendo.

Deberían cambiar sus colchones
De no haber sido por el colchón de la cama que estaba viejísimo y la habitación muy obscura y el baño con un aroma raro y no agradable todo lo de más muy bien. Tienen capuchino para el desayuno

Do not get this hotel. Find something else
Horrible not clean no available pillows limited towels. Noise until 20:30 in our door. Employee building a closet right by our door from 15:00 to 20:30 shower head broken. Bathroom’s door broken. TV not working. No available water or drink. Smells horrible. It was not clean at all. Electric and plumbing exposed. Elevator not working. You need to go up 3 floors by stairs with luggage. When elevator working only one person or two to use. Very dirt building. Reception was not nice or helpful. But a lot of sorry all the time but not effective. Others Guest complaints about not haven’t water for shower. Terrible place I will recommend to be out of there. Oh overthere was a construction around the area (not hotel fault but nevertheless nothing is done to minimize a bit of situation or advise you of anything, well if can call it a hotel very badly managed by amateurs, if expressed your disappointment the receptionist will yelling at you and expressing intimidating words toward you, also there no way to take our luggage near to hotel after you find a parking yourselves and dragging your luggage about 200-300 meters away because parking around is not permit only to local residents. And the construction make unbearable and dangerous to yourselves. Immediately find another hotel is my recommendation

It is indeed an unusual property, a very old-fashioned, one-floor hotel on the third floor of a building which houses other businesses. For clients not accustomed to this type of family-run hotel, it can seem a bit unusual yet it common in many Italian cities.. The check-in is a man at a small desk, not a counter. There is then one corridor and the rooms. My room was very clean, quiet, very good air conditioning, great water pressure/shower, comfortable bed. The man at the desk, the proprietor was very nice and helpful. The building and facilities are old, to be clear. The location is at the edge of the historic center beyond Piazza San Marco, at Piazza Libertà, a well-car trafficked area. There are a few restaurants nearby. For clients wishing to stay in the more beautiful center, this hotel seems remote although is is only a 10-12 minute walk to Piazza Duomo on Via Cavour. It served my purposes of a 3-day stay for work. The wifi was typically weak but it functioned. The elevator is also old-fashioned, quite small, typical of old buildings in Italy In all, in spite of the slight strangeness of the place, it was a good stay with no problems. Thank you.

Grazie. Crediamo che sia un commento giusto. Per noi manca soltanto un suo accenno che l'hotel è molto economico in rapporto soprattutto alla posizione centrale ( 10/12 minuti dal Duomo camminando )

Overall a very pleasant visit
Our stay was overall very pleasant. Only one complaint: the windows are old and leaky so the room is quite cold when it's not summer and the there is a lot of noise coming from the road just outside.

A small old basic hotel in a walkable distance
The hotel is on the 3rd floor (a different hotel on the 2nd floor). You can either take the stairs of the tiniest lift I’ve ever seen in my life. If you’re travelling with suitcases or little kids with pushchair, you won’t fit in as you have to physically close the lift’s folding doors behind you. Bathroom I must say is a nightmare, the water was boiling (can’t change temperature) and the drain was blocked. I couldn’t tell anyone the following morning as there was no one at the reception. Location wise is good for backpackers, 10-15 minutes to Accademia Gallery on foot (on the same street).

Отель понравился( только ночевали в нем). Отличное месторасположение к центру города( недалеко академия изящных искусств). Тихая улица.Отель находится на третьем этаже( есть лифт).Встречает радушный хозяин( по вашей просьбе расскажет о достопримечательностях,и где можно покушать).Номер был довольно просторным и чистым, имелся даже холодильник. В ванной есть все принадлежности за искл. фена( его можно попросить).Однозначно буду рекомендовать его.

Extra fee on arrival and poor breakfast
Overall the hotel was okay however we were disappointed with two aspects of our stay. When we arrived we had to pay a 'city fee' of €10 (which I'm not even sure is real). It wasn't specificed on the website which is the annoying thing. The second disappointment was the breakfast, just don't take the breakfast option. We paid €20 for basically nothing and were told 'breakfast is finished' when we arrived in the alloted time. Just avoid the breakfast option...

Barriere architettoniche
Avendo un bimbo piccino e quindi la necessità di usare il passeggino l'ho trovato scomodo in quanto l'ascensore dell'albergo essendo molto piccolo e di dimensioni particolari non aveva la capienza per il carrozzino. Pensavo stando lì ,che una persona diversamente abile avrebbe avuto non poche difficoltà! La stanza molto carina !

La camera era davvero terribile! La numero 44. Appena entrati un puzzo incredibile di fogne che saliva dal bagno, abbiamo dovuto tenere aperta la finestra che dava su un cortile tremendo per tutta la notte con il rischio che entrassero animali o insetti ma davvero non si respirava. Il bagno piccolo e angusto oltre che maleodorante non aveva neppure un appoggio per il beauty abbiamo dovuto portarci un comodino del letto per poter lasciare le cose. La doccia? Minuscola con acqua calda che non arriva mai. Il personale è molto gentile soprattutto il signore della reception ma davvero è un luogo fatiscente per alcune camere. Da evitare se possibile

I will never stay this hotel again. Far from everywhere. Also buses are not convenient. The hotel is everything old. I asked a receptionist to check my fridge because it was not working. He said they will check, but no one checked it. That don't care about customers. I couldn't use the fridge. Also I stayed two nights, but they didn't change the towel. So I had to use same towel two nights. It was not good for hygiene. Wifi is too weak. I have to use Internet out of the room. It was very bad experience.
